Very kind staff and doctor! They took loving care of our kitten and helped us nurse him back to health. They also took VERY good care of him during and after his surgeries.

The worse vet experience hands down. If I could do 0 stars I would. Short version- took two cats in to get shots and fixed, only one got fixed and shots(and she didn't do well). They had me come back in 10 days to try again with 2nd, only to be told it "might" happen. They don't communicate and when they do they're rude and arrogant. They charge you for tests/things that you don't want or need with no real interest or care for your pet. They're just trying to get as much money out of each animal as possible. My mistake going back the second time thinking things could be different. Actual situation that happened- I took both cats in ten days ago to be fixed vaccinated for about $600(estimate for TWO cats). One cat they fix, one cat they leave sitting in a cage all day- with no water or food because he was supposed to get surgery-claiming theyre waiting to get a urinalysis for a UTI and doing fecal test. They said they'd call me to get him within a half hour if it wasn't successful, they never did. Female comes out looking half dead- I had to bring her back the next day for fluids and such she literally looked like she was dying and hadn't ate or drank in over 24 hrs. Of course I had to pay for after they told me I wouldn't. Male they tell me bring him back in 10 days to do another urinalysis to see if UTI is gone and do surgery. So I do. Which turns into me sitting in my car for a half hour after they told me "it'd be a minute" (I live 5 minutes drive away it's stupid for me to sit and waste gas staying warm) but figured they meant a few minutes. They finally call and say they are gonna keep him all day again to try and get the urinalysis and may or may not do the surgery, do everything (tests, vaccines etc) since they couldn't last time, hand me an estimate of $500. I get home and look at the estimate and they are trying to give him vaccines he already got, tests he had done, and "sample collection" he got done TEN days ago. Plus a bunch of things I never authorized, such as an x-ray for $100. So I called them and told them put my cat back in his carrier don't touch him I'm coming to get him. Your not doing all this unauthorized stuff you just did ten days ago. When I got there the lady had the audacity to try and argue with me about if they actually did those charges or not. There is absolutely no communication behind the counters, and it spills over to the customers, and the pets they're supposedly caring for. It is by the far the most unprofessional, traumatizing overall worse experience I've ever had with a vet office. I explicitly told these people MULTIPLE times. JUST basic vaccines, getting fixed. NO microchip. Yet I get an estimate back that says "wellness visit, x-ray, samples collections (twice for one cat?), extra vaccines, tests, microchip, getting fixed, collar, etc. They clearly were going to have my cat sit in a cage all day again to try and charge me another days worth of tests and a visit, and "get him fixed another day" just like last time. Or, they were gonna fix him and charge me for a bunch of stuff they JUST did (without authorization) that is NOT necessary. I'm not sure how a place that is this bad is still in practice, other than the fact it's the middle of nowhere and they take advantage of that fact. Well, I'll drive down to metro Detroit where I got my first cat fixed and shots and it went NO where near as traumatizing for me or the cats.

Rudest receptionist I have ever talked to. My dog was adopted from a situation of abuse and I called to ask for a veterinarians advice when it comes to his anxiety and signs of aggression when he meets new people. I was hoping for advice about anti anxiety pills or maybe dog trainers and muzzles. Literally anything. But the receptionist said something along the lines of "I don't know what kind of advice you're expecting" and I said that when you introduce new cats I know that they should smell eachother a crate first, I was hoping for anything like that and she goes "well it sounds like you have all the advice you need". I never got a call back.

This place is horrible. If I could give it negative stars, I would. The staff at the front desk is rude, every time we have come here you don't even get seen until about an hour to 2 hours after your previously scheduled appointment, and this has not been since the coronavirus pandemic, this has been going on long before that. The staff constantly makes excuses for the ungodly delay in your animal being seen, and somehow it's always dogs having seizures. The dogs probably have to fake the seizures just so they can be seen and get the hell out of there! The vet is nice, but I shouldn't have to miss a whole day of work just to get my dog yearly shots. Then when you ask when your dog is going to be seen, they try to ask you if you want to reschedule! No, I want my dog to be seen within 15 minutes of their appointment time, not bring them back after waiting 1.5 hours, just to wait another 1.5 hours the next time.

I just called trying to see if they were only taking emergency situations for animals during covid or are they allowing any type of situations to come in. I'm not sure who answered the phone but I will be switching to a different veterinary office for my dogs. She was SO RUDE and kept cutting me off. She eventually hung up the phone on me as I was saying "thank you". I wouldn't suggest anyone coming to this location.

Vets are good. Front office staff is awful. I have many animals and have dealt with several Wilson vet hospitals and this one is by far the worst. Their attitudes are very uncalled for. Thinking about driving further just so I dont have to deal with the staff.

I used to take my animals to see Dr Nordrum at Yale Veterinary before I moved back to Roseville and let me tell you something, you will not find a better vet anywhere. She genuinely loves animals and it shows in how she cares for yours. My daughter just drove out to see her from Fraser because she remembered how good Dr. Nordrum was with my dogs and cats. Yes its a little bit of a drive, but sooo worth it!

I absolutely love this vet! I could not say enough good things. I have grown up using this vet clinic and I trust Dr. Nordrum with my dogs more than any other vet I have met. She is honest and sincere about your pets and the techs are amazing as well.

So, the second person we saw was a women, who was professional. I don't have any issue with her service, however, when you pay for an xray, you pay to have it read. After 3 weeks, the xray was never read. My dog needs surgery, the question is: can they do it and how much. Never called me, they never followed up, they didn't treat him. Complete waist of time and money.

My barn cat showed up very sick after being gone for three or four days. She was clearly very sick, so I walked in (without an appointment) to the clinic, and one of techs looked at the cat (almost immediately) and decided she needed to see the vet, who I was able to see after only a five-minute wait. After reviewing the x-ray, the probable diagnosis was feline infectious peritonitis, which has a poor prognosis. We decided that euthanasia was called for. The tech was sensitive, patient and supportive when she returned the cat to me. My thanks to the Yale Vetinary Hospital.

This veterinary hospital is the best I have found. I have had many pets before and this place (especially Dr Nordrum) has been the most concerned with the pet instead of just getting through the visit. I live in Port Huron 30 min away. To me it is worth the drive. I have never had a problem with my bill, but I pay my bill at time of visit. They are very throrough and explain everything like how the pet will react to the medication and iwhat to watch for in case of any problems. I give all kudos to this hospital.
