Ultimate Body is under new ownership, and with it - a steep loss in quality and concern for the customer. Except for the super nice employee who came to pick me up in exchange for gas money. Thanks man! I scheduled an exterior detail - asking for a clay bar, polish, and wax. I also wanted an undercoating spray applied. I excitedly went to check out to see my “ultimate body” detail. It looked like nothing had been done. I pointed out to Rob, even viewing inside the wheel well, or anything else visually from any angle that nothing had not been touched for the undercoating . He told me it was my problem and to go down the street and talk with their outsource partner. Really? Not your problem? That’s on me? How about, “Hey Mr. Customer, let’s go inside and give em a call and see what’s up”. Instead I got a stare down contest and an explanation how he doesn’t check any work, and how he doesn’t have time for that. No, not kidding. The paint wasn’t polished. I’m not even sure they actually waxed it. Water spots everywhere, roof wasn’t touched. Windows covered in water spots. Water drained from random emblems leaving a dried water trails. Upon discussion and citing the evidence - more stare down contests and lack of accountability from Rob. Spoke to the owners daughter at the counter. There was no interest in speaking on a path of recourse, or potentially salvaging the relationship or remedy the work that was incomplete. Just gave me my bill for $220 and and said “well.. sorry!” Went to Auto One down the street. Showed them my truck. They gave me a tour of their facility, showed me the products they use - and came outside to help me remove all the water spots, dirt and grime left by Ultimate Body. They gave helpful suggestions on how to finish off the job on the roof that wasn’t complete, and remove bug debris safely until I create an appointment with them for my next detail. Which certainly will never be at “Ultimate Body” - who “ultimately” got my money, and an award for winning the stare down contest at the expense of losing a customer of 10+ years.

So I bought some fender flares for my Ram 1500 off Amazon. I called Ultimate Body to see about them installing for me. They did a great job with getting them installed in no time. Will definitely give them my business and refer if anyone asks for recommendations for aftermarket installs. Thanks Team

Brought a vehicle in for some warranty work on window tinting that was installed 6 years ago. My appt was at 8:30 and they got the vehicle in before the shop opened at 9am. I was told the young man who does the tinting is one of the best in the business. Looking forward to seeing the end product.

Bought multiple caps, undercoating, tint and a tonnele cover that just blew off (come to find out due to my own negligence) and couldn’t recover due to an emergency, Rob took great care of me and helped me out with a new solution when he definitely had no obligation too, they have definitely earned my business as a lifetime customer and will use them for all my truck and car accessories. You guys rock?Thankyou.

I'm not one to leave a review, but in this case I must. I am astounded by how good the interior looks in my 2017 Tacoma. The detailing rendered makes the interior look brand new - well done!

I purchased an ARE cap for my 2022 Honda Ridgeline from a retailer in Northwood Ohio. After having it installed I noticed that it was leaking from behind the front wall of the truck bed so I took it back to the retailer. They said it was repaired as best they could but it was a truck manufacturer problem and I should take it back to them. So I did. The truck manufacturer spent over 1 week with the truck and could not fix the leak - they said it was a cap issue. I took the truck back to the cap retailer and they said they repaired it. A few days later it rained and water was in the truck bed still. I contacted ARE (the cap manufacturer) and they said the issue was a truck problem and the solution was to buy a BedRug. I then looked up other retailers of the ARE caps and came across Ultimate Body in Brighton Michigan. I spoke with Robert and he assured me they could fix the leak so I scheduled an appointment with them. Upon arrival they were very friendly and prompt to start working on my issue. Once they got into the issue they called me back to show me the problem. The original retailer installed the cap incorrectly not once but twice which was causing the leakage. I have had my cap on now for over a week since Ultimate Body re-installed the cap. It has rained once with no leakage and then I took it through a high pressure car wash with minimal leakage (less than a dime). I am very satisfied with the professionalism and friendly service that I received from Ultimate Body. I would highly recommend their services.

Absolutely great customer service. Very easy to book an appointment and I was able to wait in the lobby in the morning before they were open so I didn't have to find a ride. They did an excellent job tinting two of my vehicles. No bubbles or imperfections to be found. Very clean tight lines on the edges as well. I'm a perfectionist so coming from me that's saying something.

Brought my 1999 Lexus SC400 for a full exterior paint correction and detail before selling the car on Bring a Trailer. The team at Ultimate Body did a fantastic job with a quick turnaround. The car looked practically brand new when they were done. So good even, it managed to sell even before I put it up for auction. Will be bringing my future vehicles here.
