“I'm usually not one to shop here, ever. The prices are high and I can never find a good deal on anything. UNTIL TODAY...my step son and I only went her because he begged me lol he wanted new shoes for school. Reluctant, I said okay. We looked around for maybe 10 minutes and everything he pointed out was $140, $150..my heart sank. Ugh, but I wanted him to get a new pair so I said keep looking. He found an awesome pair of high top Nike shoes that I just loved, so naturally, thought they would be the most expensive yet. THEY WERE $67.99!!!!!! When I tell you I almost couldn't contain myself, it's an understatement. They were ours, we wanted them NOW lol I walked around to find someone to grab his size and found Xavier. The first thing he did was hand my step son a starburst candy (fully wrapped, don't panic, I didn't) and then looked up to see if they had our size. Unfortunately they did not, but Xavier said we could do an online order and I wasn't letting these get away from me! When he rang up the shoes, they came up at $71.99 plus tax, so my total was like $76 and some change. He explained to me the reasoning for the discrepancy, which made sense but in my mind was upset they were mis-marked. Didn't say anything, was still gonna proceed with my transaction because we both really liked these shoes. Xavier finished ringing us up, gave Mason another starburst candy and said "you guys follow me" as he walked to the front, went to a register AND RANG US UP A $25 GIFTCARD, and said "sorry for the inconvenience, I hope this helps" I almost started crying!! I really couldn't believe it. I literally have not seen generosity like this since someone paid it forward on my Starbucks drink like 7-8 years ago. He didn't know us, he was extremely busy when I asked him to stop what he was doing and see if they had our size in this shoe. Truly reminded me of why life can be good, and how thankful I am to be living it. Generosity PAYS, we will be back soon”
