We bought a 2021 Palisade from MCE in April of this year. When we got home, we found that there was a leak from the transmission where it mates to the engine.
I spoke with Chris and brought the vehicle back to be repaired. He told me it was a seal issue in the transmission and that they would repair it. Great, we appreciated him honoring the warranty. After about 10 days the vehicle was ready. For two months, the car did not leak. But then it started leaking again, from the same spot and with slightly more fluid as last time. So the same symptoms as before.
We took it to a local transmission shop, and they thought it is an improperly aligned/mated transmission, probably missing a dowel rod that is used to make sure everything is aligned. This happened in early August. I emailed MCE and was told that Chris was out for the week.
When Chris got back, he sent me a picture of the transmission with the dowel rod circled on either side, saying that he thought they got those in there, but it could be the problem. I asked him to fix it, since MCE was the only company to drop the drivetrain and work on it, twice. In addition, the original problem that MCE worked on under warranty was not fixed.
Chris informed me that because we were outside the 90 day warranty window, he would not work on it, even though it was probably due to their error and they had not fixed the issue when they worked on it prior.
Now we are stuck with a costly repair because MCE did not fix the problem either time they had the opportunity; either initially when they worked on it or when we returned it for warranty work.
Regardless if you believe that they should work on the vehicle one month after the expiration of the warranty or not, the fact remains that they did not fix a problem in the transmission twice.
I think that Chris is a nice guy, but I cannot recommend Motor Car Export.

Chris and Pat are good guys that take care of their customers. I've bought a couple of cars here and saved alot of money over the regular retail price. They do a good job to make sure the cars are repaired properly.

I bought a 2020 Cadillac XT5 Sport recently (flood car) & I can say that I am very pleased with the vehicle ! It not only runs great but the body & trim look great! I had a problem with the rear wiper & washer. Cris sent me a new G,M. wiper & washer kit at new charge. GOOD PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH & PLEASANT ON THE PHONE !

Purchased a 2021 Ram 2500 from Pay and Chris recently. Over 1,000 trouble free miles so far and it is absolutely beautiful! I saved between15-20k and you would never know why. If you want to drive a low mileage, late model for less, this is the place! I have been in the automotive industry for 30 years and by far this is the most transparent, down to earth place I’ve seen. Pat and Chris are the best guys to work with, they are Meticulous with their repairs and stand behind their vehicles. My family has purchased many vehicles from them throughout the years and they are a God send. Being rebuilt their pricing is obviously great, but the Quality of the vehicle purchase makes it outstanding!
