The buying experience here was good. The actual service performed in the vehicle when service was needed was also good. Both were not exceptional.
What was exceptional was the customer support of the service department. In particular several advisors and a manager, with one service advisor who stood out.
Carissa provided excellent customer care during my service visit. She listened and noted a concern or two about my vehicle’s maintenance issues. She really excelled when I needed to return twice after completion of service as a result of two items the service tech did not accomplish. She handled both the reinstall of the 3M door handle protectors, and resetting the maintenance interval reminders.
She should be commended for her thorough action, genuine demeanor and respect for the customer. She provided exceptional service recovery and helped balance my negative opinion of the actual service work performed.

Let’s face it, buying a car after a bad car accident is pretty stressful. I honestly didn’t want to drive for a while and even put my rental car in the garage for 4 days! I finally drove to Serra Brighton to see a used Mazda. Andrew put me at ease with his serious intention to help me find a car that would put me comfortably behind the wheel again. I went a few other places and saw a few other possible alternatives, but I returned to Serra for the car and the quality of support that Andrew provided. The finance officer, Adam, patiently answered my many questions, too.
I recommend Serra in Brighton. It was worth the easy drive from Ann Arbor!

Easily scheduled a test drive through Serra's website. My assigned Sales Rep, Andrew, facilitated a great deal all the way through to the finish. He communicated in a timely and personable manner, both with me and professionally with our bank. When it was time to pick it up, on a Saturday, the back of house staff was courteous and efficient, all details were addressed to my expectations, and I was on the road in no time.

Our salesperson was Britney Roll and she worked really hard for us and was very friendly and easy to work with, she did a great job. The car we ended up purchasing was located at another lot a few miles away, so the wait was quite long. We were buying from out of state, so navigating that was a harder than most for everyone involved, but we got it done and we got our tags and registration in a timely manner.
