I have lived here for over three years and have had a great experience. Every time I have had an issue, whether it be with maintenance or something else, they have been extremely timely and helpful in finding a resolution. Shayna, the Community Manager, is the best!

Quite location and super close to downtown brighton.Never had any complaints. They also keep common areas clean and neat .. which is hard to find with a lot of complexes these days …. to bad this thing doesn’t goup to six stars !highly recommended for price as well !

Great property management and maintenance team. Easy to work with regarding repairs and open to concerns regarding property improvements. Renovated units are very nice. Great location and park like setting.

We lived here for a year in an upgraded one bedroom unit. Here are some pros and cons.Pros:1. Very good location. Walking distance to downtown. Neighbors are all very nice and never have to worry about safety issues.2. The walls are thick and pretty sound proof. You can hardly hear your neighbors and they can’t hear you much either.3. Maintenance team is very friendly and prompt and usually come in within 1-2 business days after request.4. The upgraded unit has pretty good appliances. We had brand new dish washer, induction stove and fridge.Cons:1. The property company is kind of tone-deaf during COVID. Their solution to help you is through this app Flex you can download to pay rent in multiple installments but with an additional fee. We got emails/texts about this app over and over again around rent due time which became annoying.2. The building is old and the heating/cooling system not very efficient, making your energy bill pretty high for a small place.3. Also because the building is old, although the maintenance is courteous they can’t fix everything and can only leave some be. We’ve heard squirrels running around in between the floors lol.

Constant plumbing problems. Sink backs up all over the floor only to hear....."we dont do maintenance on weekends. Started out nice but after you've been here for awhile you see the issues and why they get a bad rating. My door still doesnt lock. Told me to use a piece of wood.

Brighton Glens is a beautiful little nook of apartment complexes. The trees in the area are huge and offer lots of shade and homes for small wildlife. The downtown Brighton area is about a mile away and easy to walk to during all the summer fairs. The neighborhood is very safe and I never feel unsafe walking my dog. I do wish there were more sidewalks and street lamps as it gets very dark at night. We have a two bedroom on the ground floor. We have a patio on which we like to enjoy the weather and the open floor plans give lots of space. Props to management and maintenance for always getting requests done in a timely manner.

I just don't get why you tell everyone their a.c works when my apartment is currently 86 degrees and your offices feel great. God forbid you guys have to deal with the heat that you make everyone of your residents deal with. I call to get them to look at my air and have to wait while they say the same thing to everyone else who has this issue... Why can't you get the a.c to work like it does for your office? Our apartments are not very big, so it shouldn't be that hard to make it bearable for the people who pay your inflated prices. I understand you guys own several apartment complexes so you have your little monopoly and can get away with charging those prices. But its gonna backfire real hard if everyone starts speaking up on the way you deal with your residents maintenance problems. I spoke up last time, you said the a.c was fixed and charged me 408 for my 2 cats. I paid the fee for my cats and my a.c still doesn't work.

They enter when they want when you are not home. Never leaving a notice. They say you pay for security but the exterior door does not lock. They say they will fix it... and never do.You pay way too much for rent. You call Friedman and your issues don’t get resolved. But they still expect you to pay the rent anyway.

Brighton Glens is overall a decent place to live. I currently live here, and I have nice neighbors. It’s a peaceful place and I absolutely love my apartment. This apartment a safe community with a reasonable cost for living. It’s located in a nice area, very close to downtown, I-96 and highway 23. We had several minor maintenance issues and management was always quick to respond (almost always next-day). Staff is very friendly.

Nice apartments. Took forever to replace our door, though.

The area is nice, clean, and well-kept. Very dog friendly. 5 minutes from downtown Brighton. However, my neighbors smoke like a chimney and the odor comes into my apartment. Very frustrating.
