“They didn't have malt for my ice cream but they did have the ice cream itself. It's a good store that's easy to get in and out. Grocery shopping done.”

“My husband and I were buying something to get cash back off our card.... We could not get enough, so the employee actually gave us $5 out of her own pocket. Ughhhhhgh I cannot remember her name, but she was working last night (February 16th) probably around 8 or 830pm. We will be back to return the $5. It was greatly appreciated!!!! There usually aren't good people like her around very often. Thank you again!! Very kind woman. ????”

“Friendly little family owned Shop. Nice food selection. Better than you would expect. Great sandwiches, I love the pulled pork and the fried chicken. It's hard to leave without a couple of fresh baked cookies. Wonderful people. I'm there almost every day. Always a comfortable environment. Be warned tho, if your not hungry the smell in the air will definitely bring out your appetite...”

“It's a nice store. Clean and organized. I really like this store but I'll be honest there's a lot of improvement to be made. Coffee is weak, sandwiches are pretty expensive for what they are. The best food is found on the roller grill, or in a bag.Opening hours vary. Because some people don't show up to work on time.”

“I absolutely love to shop here, The store has so much to offer at cheaper prices and the staff is absolutely so kind and there when you need something. It's absolutely one of the cleanest stores I go into. Aldi is always my preferred stop for almost everything.”

“Best sandwiches we have ever had! My boys got the BLT and I got a club type. Takes a while because it is fresh and the bread is to die for! We will for sure be back!”

“This is a whole in the wall type of place. Tucked back into a little party store. My family was on vacation, and they all wanted pizza. It was the 4th of July. So, not much was open. Looked up and ordered from here. To my surprise, my pizza was delicious. Everyone enjoyed it. The person on the phone seemed annoyed we were calling to order food. And when I picked it up, she seemed un happy, and never looked us in the eyes. She never said thank you. Otherwise, a great surprise place in the middle of nowhere. Pretty good price also.”

“This place is a Godsend in the area. The employees are all wonderful. The store is clean. They try to keep some things at reasonable prices, which is so appreciated by this local. The wine and beer selection is well curated. And again, so important for the area, they have enough reasonably priced items to put together a family meal.”

“Meijer has a super good cashier, her name is Carrie. My wife and I are regular shoppers every week, until last September when we found out that my wife has cancer. Cassie inquired as to why my wife was no longer with me, I told her because of her receiving chemo. I'm still a regular and Cassie inquires about my wife. The concern and love that Cassie has shown to my wife is truly heart warming. Thank you, Meijer for having such a wonderful young woman work for you.”

“I typically will go to Meijer, Aldi or even occasionally the St. Joseph location of Martins for groceries. I was already in the area so stopping by for a bathroom break and quick snack from Martin's in Stevensville was convenient. Inside they have a Caribou Coffee to get drinks while shopping. They also have their famous SideDoor cafe, which provides hot food like rotisserie chickens, macaroni & cheese, fries, fried chicken and the beloved hoosier fries. Some cold options are also available but for me the draw has always been the panini sandwiches. Delicious bakery items are also available on top of the standard grocery store items. Bathrooms are clean, staff is friendly, and lots of choice options. Biggest down side is how far this location is from me, but the second downside is you do tend to pay a touch more than other spots closer to me. I'll come back, but maybe not for a bit.”

“The ladies there are super friendly. And always there. It's nice having the familiarity and that down home feel. Kim's rough around the edges, but you know what ?? That makes her awesome! She's so spunky and I love it. All of the ladies there are absolutely wonderful!!”

“This kind gentleman with the nametag 'Noah' made me feel welcomed as a customer, showed me where the eggs were and recommended me the most delicious, mouth watering rye bread to go with it. Thank you for enlightening me Noah and reassuring me there are still kind, caring souls in this world.”

“Unless it's on sale most of the groceries you can purchase tend to cost a little more than the other grocery stores in the area. They do have great sales though and I usually am very happy with the bakery, produce and meat departments choices and quality. I hardly ever have anything less than great customer service here as well”

“In rural America the best diners take cash and close at 2 pm. After that, the hungry traveler looks for a grocery store for victuals and, if the weather permits, a local park for a picnic. So it was that Google directed me to this "grocery store". Dark magic it was then when I walked in and found myself ordering a latte (with an extra shot) and a wonderful almond croissant! I hope this little treasure is kept in business by the locals. They should be proud of it.”

“The Baroda Dollar General sets a high bar when it comes to friendly customer service & a well maintained, bright, clean & very organized atmosphere both inside & outside the store. It’s a rare occasion when an item isn’t where it should be, & even more unusual to have a cart / box that hasn’t been dealt with. We’ve been to more than a few DG’s in our area, & the contrast in difference is stark, & serves as a reminderthat when someone actually cares, it’s not just obvious but pleasingly a very nice shopping experience. “Martin's has a great selection for a grocery store, and it's a good place to get lunch. It's clean and the staff is friendly. I always find something I haven't tried before, and my wife likes the salad bar.”

“I had already been to one store for black eye peas. I went to Walmart in Benton Harbor, their frozen black eye peas were empty. I asked a very nice gentleman Johnathan. He checked his phone, said there were some in the back and that he would check. A few minutes later he came out with a box! Johnathan saved me a trip to another store. Walmart is lucky to have him as an employee! He's polite and helpful.”
