This is not a five star motel. Been coming here off and on for over 25 years. Family owned. And yes, primitive by today's standards. But clean, run by a friendly owner and convenient for our trips fishing the Pere Marquette river. We love the ambience. The rustic environment and the peace and quiet away from town. You want to hang your waders on the outside wall, go for it - the nails are there. Want to grill outside your cabin or room, go for it. This is old school up north Michigan and we'll come here as often as we can.

Great little spot! Clean rooms with heat, shower and toilet. Stayed in the motel part, not the little cabins. Will definitely stay again, good room, great price!
