“A really cute vintage place! We found some treasures. I saw an item there I wish I would have gotten…and sometimes I think about calling to see if they still have it. I’d make the drive to come get it?. 10/10 recommend this sweet hometown store with great vintage finds.”

“I am not reviewing Challenge Mountain's merchandise. I AM letting buyers know about Mold, Mildew & Musty stuff. An an antiques dealer, I have had to dig my way through it all. What the lady from Bloomfield Hills does not seem to realize is the "3 M's" are all 'alive - organisms that spread & grow just like ants or fleas. If you have a library and a book is put on your shelf that has mildew on it, that mildew CAN & usually Does grow & spreads to other books. If you have clothing that has mildew on it, you can see the spots & you usually can not "wash it out". I won a box-lot of vintage 1920's hats at an auction. It was a lousy day for an auction - raining & windy. My nose was running and I could not smell. I got stuck with mildewy hats. Great. SO if you donate a truck full of stuff & the musty smell hits you in the face when the door is opened, it is NOT "one little thing". But it IS like skunk spray - not going away. So please do not blame the helper. Their trash bill is over a thousand dollars a month.”

“Great second hand shop! My friend and I had such a great time talking to the owner and he even let us feed the CUTEST shop dog :)We both got some beautiful handmade petoskey necklaces (that his friend makes!!). A great place to get some quality winter/ski gear or clothing that has been gently used.Hoping to visit again next time when I go to Boyne!”

“I took my mom to Goodwill, I enjoyed the experience with her even if next time we go we aim to only spend around $40 . I felt like the customer service was pretty nice we had a woman help us find mens diabetic socks (They have tons in stock if you want to go pick some up size 10-13). I was also a fan of how they had a Big and tall section in Men's and a Plus size for women separate from the rest, it helped cut down on digging through everything! There was a couple of items put on the floor with stains , two of the white items we picked out had stains. My new dress I bought had stains and I didn't realize until I got home I was disappointed. If they are going to put stained items on the floor maybe marking them down would be a good idea , I paid $8 for this dress and I wouldn't have got it if I saw the stain before hand. The fitting rooms were not open for some reason.I felt uncertain buying some things because of that. I hope they have them open by the next time I come to shop. Overall was a good day and hope to see some good changes next time I come to shop :)”
