Great interaction and response to both my dog and questions by all of the staff. The vet came out and answered all of my questions on how to best care for my new pet.

After our family has been in this community for over 40 years and former long time patient at this clinic, there was zero consideration for an emergency situation we are going through. A complete lack of empathy. These are not people I want caring for my pet. Our family has moved on from this place. Virtual consultation is a lie. That's all I asked for. It's clear they aren't capable of providing the right care, but to deny a 5 minute call to discuss symptoms and/or photos of said issue is complete appalling. Instead of being receptive to our issue, we were hung up on and directed else where. This can be expected in more competitive areas but to a community that prides itself on helping others and especially their own, they are not it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My dog is throwing up blood and I called them as it's obviously an emergency and they told me they wouldn't accept me because I've never been to this vet before (my fiancé and I are currently housesitting at his parents so we aren't from here). Instead they told me we needed to drive all the way to Traverse City in the middle of a winter storm warning with 8 inches of snow coming down. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. Do. Not. Go. Here. They hung up on my fiancé after he tried to explain we were from out of town and in desperate need of help.

I can’t stress enough what saints everyone who works in this office is. I found out my dogs rabies shot expired a few days ago and kennel wouldn’t take him to board without a new rabies shot. I found this all out yesterday, Friday at 4:00 and I’m leaving out of town today (Saturday).

This is a first professional services review for me - normally I brutally crucified dining spots. Beth & Erin I regard you both as "Saints in Scrubs"! My wife Linda brought our beloved BOMBAY (19.5yrs) to you gals 3 times a week from EJ in mid August for hydration. Your TLC with our beautiful silver back Bombay is so appreciated. He is back down state with us, but know in your hearts, in his own way, he loves you both. The photo is about 3 years old but you can see that 'confident swagger' in his eyes. Warmest regards, George

The entire staff has always been warm and welcoming to me and my 2 rescue pitbulls. when I had to have one euthanized unexpectedly, they were so compassionate and supportive. I decided to have my Betty cremated and they presented her ashes to me in a beautiful wooden box with a pawprint on it along with a heart and angel wing keepsake, and sympathy card. beyond what I expected. I cannot thank them enough for taking care of Betty in her final moments and look forward to bringing Ace there for all of his future needs.

Dr Kurt Dr Zender and the whole staff are wonderful. I highly recommend them. Been going there for years,although they had never treated my primates or Macaws they did treat my Serval and a numerous amount of crazy breeds. Extremely satisfied with the care kindness patience they have with the animals.Lake Street Veterinary Clinic "IS" the place to go

We have been bringing our Rescue Shelties to Lake Street Vet. Clinic for 6 years-since we moved to the area. The Vets, techs & front desk staff could not be more helpful. We love this place!! Thank you all for your wonderfully caring service. 2 thumbs up

We took our dog in after an accident. Unfortunately she died at the scene. We were so upset and they took care of everything (cremation, ashes box, cleaning her up) allowed us to say good bye. They were closed at the time, and opened their doors for us. It was the worse day of my life. Thank you for their service and knowing how to take care of things. Even cleaned the blood up in the back of the vehicle.

The Best Pet staff Ever ! We cannot Thank you all enough the passion and care you have showed to us and our 2 Golden's over these past 19 years. Dr. Kurt ..Our hearts our full because of you.. Words can't even begin to express how much it meant to us that you came to our home to peacefully help Oliver cross over and no longer suffer. We felt so at ease that you took him an his last ride to his final resting place, and you re assured us that we did the right thing to not let him suffer. Your the Best !
