My regular vet could not get my dog in. This was my first visit here and it was great. Very friendly and compassionate. Normally, I have to muzzle my dog and she did not need to be muzzled or sedated for her procedure! Excellent staff. Thank you for caring so well for my fur baby.

I was referred here for my dog who has high anxiety and aggression issues. Initial consult was $575. I filled out a ton of papers. The "behaviorist" never even interacted with my dog. She sat across the room behind a desk and asked me the same questions that were on the intake forms. She increased the dose of one medication and added another. At my follow up (not in person) I told her there had been no change. She increased the doses and gave a couple of lame suggestions that I could have gotten from Google and charged me another $155. At the third Skype appt I told her there had been no change and how disappointed I was in the "service." She basically said "sorry. Schedule again gor February." And I was charged $175. This woman never interacted with my dog one time.No thank you. I'll find someone more qualified to actually help my dog.

I took my dog there hoping to get help. I waited 5 hours, finally got an xray but needed an ultrasound too. The ultrasound person had just left. I was there for 5 hours, they should have seen him for that first. I got no answers and it was $1500. They wanted me to come back later for the ultrasound that would have been another $1000. Bowser unfortunately passed away. This place only wants your money and doesn't care about your baby. I had to give it 1 star but it should get 0. Do not go here!

Very professional service. Even during a holiday weekend. Had another emergency years ago during a holiday weekend. Used another so called emergency veterinary hospital. It was like night and day between the 2.

Dr. Clark of Internal Medicine and her staff has been so truly amazing and thorough in treating our dog. For several weeks, we thought we were going to lose Cody and her team stepped in, came up with a game plan and gave us confidence and tremendous hope. In the end, we are so grateful for their commitment and help.

I have waited till now to make my review: 4 years ago!!!!!! FEB 2020, my cat LOCK was there for a cough. after two nights, and many test later. Almost 6,000 dollars, I was told it was GRAVE and no chemotherapy was needed. He was diagnosed with an inoperable mass. (3 Oncologist). I left and went to Animal Cancer and Imaging Ceter in Canton Michigan. He LIVED for 3 years!!!!!!!! ( passed 1/12/23 ( 3 years!) Be careful here........$$$$$$$ . I am NOT going to take anymore pets here. I would go directly to Animal Cancer and Imaging Center in Canton next time. This place will drain you dry of money, and ask for half or the estimate up front....Shame!

OVRS literally saved my cat’s life. Jack went into liver failure in May and needed around the clock care in the ICU for four days. He came home needing a feeding tube and lots of meds but everything was explained to me in detail and I knew I would be able to continue his care at home. I had frequent check-ins with the Veterinarians and staff members. Everyone was so kind with my big guy and they were always so thoughtful at all of our follow up visits. I’m so grateful I have this extra time with my buddy. He would not be here without them!

Dr. Ottnod and her technician Andrea did such a good job taking care of our dog Pepper that she got excited every time we would visit. They treated her like family and their dedication to helping showed how much they truly cared. All of the staff outside of Oncology was always helpful as well from the times we needed to visit Urgent Care. The love shown by this team is why they’re heroes!

OVRS has given my cat such great care in his senior years. Dr. Vincent has helped prolong his life with the right medicine and support. It's apparent that her and her staff truly care about the well-being of their patients. I am so happy I chose OVRS to help treat my cat.

The care we have received for our furbaby Nala has been exceptional! We are so happy that our primary vet referred us to this office for a forelimb injury/shockwave therapy treatment. Not only did the treatment work, but they also found a tumor that turned out to be cancer. We have met with both Dr. Retallack and Dr. Ottnod, and both of them plus their teams have been so compassionate and helpful during our difficult cancer diagnosis and journey. We can't thank your staff enough for being there for us and answering all of my many questions along the way!!

I brought my elderly cat in on 1-2-24 because he looked ill and had trouble breathing. Once the nurses took my cat to the back to get checked out, the nightmare began. Once they took me into a room and they told me hes in bad shape and telling me he need to be admitted and it would cost $7200, I declined at first and they charged me $900 and I requested to have my cat back so I can take him to another hospital, thats when they told me he may not make it going to another hospital, I decided for him to stay. When I first went to check in on him, he looked totally different. He was in a cage gasping for air and his eyes was watery. I asked them what did they give my cat? they claimed it was the medicine for his breathing. 20 minutes later, my cat was going into cardiac arrest. My cat died. Then they hand my cat to me so I can say my final goodbyes. Then before i leave , I get another $700 bill. So I leave without my cat and a $1600 bill within 2 hours.I can't sleep, I can't eat without my buddy.

We had to put our cat Glitch to sleep today because of kidney failure and worsening nasal cancer. Dr Riepe helped with his heart situation with the heart meds she prescribed him but she referred him to Dr K for nasal flush and biopsy so we had it done and they Dr K prescribed him non steroidal nsaids which after giving it to him half a dozen times exactly as prescribed he went into kidney failure- lost his appetite- nasal area got progressively worse and charged 3000$ for procedures that were completely unnecessary and heavy handed. I’ve been looking at photos of my pet in my phone now. He was so healthy - till he started taking the liquid meds Dr K prescribed him in November. He was a skeleton when he was euthanized. I do not recommend the advice from this vet. I strongly suggest everyone to do your research first and not take their advice as any type of gospel. Take it as a stab in the dark. They don’t know what they’re doing. I don’t really care about your public reply as it is just there to make excuses and tell me I didn’t understand something or that I was mistaken about something. This was my experience from MY point of view and I want the public to KNOW about it. I feel that my cat had at least 3 more years to live had I not taken Dr Riepes advice to have the nasal flush biopsy done. It was the worst suggestion for him.

We had an exceedingly difficult time when our beloved pet got hit by a car. We rushed her to OVRS and they took her in right away. The staff were very compassionate and caring, and they explained everything clearly to us. They performed miracles on her and monitored her closely during her recovery. We are so grateful to OVRS for their professionalism and expertise. They gave us hope and comfort in a time of despair. OVRS is the best veterinary hospital you can find for your pet in an emergency situation!
