Very creative. Very professional with good humor. Beautiful work. I had them 'recycle' some gemstones from earrings into a necklace. From two photos I provided for ideas, they created a beautiful necklace for me that exceeded my expectations. Of course, you don't have to have them make something for you.... there are plenty of wonderful pieces waiting for you to choose from!

I paid them $150 to fix a watch and it still doesnt work. Unfortunately, I had my mom pick it up, as I was out of town and didnt wanna leave it there for too long. So it was awhile before I returned and retrieved the watch from her. My grandfather was a customer of the old man Maury or whatever his name is/was, and I recalled that my grandfather was fond of him. They also designed a beautiful white gold diamond ring which my grandfather gifted me. So after my grandfather passed away, MB immediately came to mind when I needed a repair for one of his jewelry pieces that I inherited, a beautiful solid gold watch, engraved on the clasp. Anyway, it still doesnt work. And the customer service from the old lady I dealt with left much to be desired. Ive no desire to return to this business.

Selection is ok but customer service needs work. I ordered a few pieces here in the past and never received a phone call to notify me when they arrived. The saleswoman on duty (the one with too much makeup) is also less than pleasant to deal with. She almost seemed irritated that I entered the empty store with intent to make a purchase.

If you are thinking about consigning YOUR jewelry to this store--don't. In the fine print--and it's not on your claim ticket--they charge a fee if your jewelry doesn't sell. And it can be fairly substantial if you consigned several items because they charge you $50.00 per claim ticket. So when your jewelry doesn't sell and you want to take it elsewhere, you will have to redeem it financially--buy it again--just to sell it somewhere else. No one else does this. Consign to an auction house or sell it outright at Abbott's.

Extremely expensive but p people whom works from this company did pulled it off beautifully work for business... I am not sure if anyone can afford them for anything else more for next upgrade jewelry.... Definitely we will come visit and take a look at this store for mor options for future fo what we want from our goals. On upgrade for wedding rings or watches or earrings. ;)

After visiting a few jewelers about an alteration to my wedding ring, I decided to stop by MB for their opinion and expertise. I had remembered having a repair done years ago at their previous location in Southfield (that turned out perfect, FYI). First, the price quoted was very reasonable. Second, the owner looked at it personally, making me feel very comfortable leaving the ring in his hands. Lastly, the ring is absolutely gorgeous!!! It far exceeded my expectations. it is obvious that the owner puts his heart and soul in his business and represents the true definition of integrity; I can tell he treats all of his customers equally. A rare quality with this kind of business where most often "the price" is determined on the expertise of one's negotiating skills. A skill in which I suck. Thank God I found a jeweler where I will be treated with fairness and honesty and not have to worry about being ripped off. This place is a Godsend, literally.
