first of all, the layout of this store is awful. so is parking. but the main reason i'm rating this store is because they stole my bottle slip money. they acknowledged it too. see, what had happened was... i was at self checkout and kroger pay want working. i gave up after several tries and i left the store. about a half hour later when i realized i left my bottle slips, i called the store and spoke to the young man who collected the bottle slips that evening. he told me i could come back and speak to a manager. he said he'd leave a note for her or whomever was there if she wasn't there. i went back to the store yesterday (the bottle slip dilemma was this past sunday) and the young man was there to confirm that he's the one who took the note. but he then told me that i came back too late to get my money. he should've told me that. and they should've gone thru the slips to confirm what i said anyway.it wasn't a lot of money but its mine and i want it.

the worst kroger ever. I've received numerous negative experiences while self-checking out at this Kroger; usually from the same person. (This lady with no manners knows who she is). This time she shoved my cart onto my back as I was scanning my items. I refrained from responding back as I just wanted to get in and get out. But this time this same pos Kroger employee crossed the line. I talked w the manager later on over the phone and next time anything happens that merits an incident than I will file a police report.

This Kroger is unprofessional and prejudice. Although I live in the area and was generally kind, they are always nasty. I've tried introducing myself, speaking with kind words, and nothing helps. They openly disrespect customers based on race and religion by stereotype. After years of being disrespected, I finally spoke out because management will do nothing about it. I refuse to drive 10 miles out of my way when I have a grocery store 2 minutes from my home. I will continue to shop there knowing that they will disrespect me based on race and religion. They even pretend not to know my name even though I've been shopping there for more than 20 years. Look forward to them treating you a certain way if they are racially, economically, or religiously biased. The workers here are above the law and think it's perfectly acceptable to bully customers based on their own personal biases.

This place really sucks, it's amazing that this Kroger is centered in the heart of the wealthiest city in Michigan and can operate so poorly On a normal afternoon you have to be on the lookout for bad meat, seafood, expired products, rude employees to name a few Today the website says open at 6 and at 7:20 a fella opens the doors as myself and 6 others are walking towards the doors and just says "closed come back at 8" Kepler get your managers to run the stores with integrety! As I am writing this you have turned away just about 30 ppl Bad business

This is the best Kroger in the area as far as availability of items and cleanliness. With a Kroger card there are great prices. Staff is usually very pleasant.

If I could give this a zero rating I would, This place is a complete mess. The employees are absolutely no help besides a hand full the cashier Christine, Aalia the flower lady and Amir. Those are the only ones who actually are helpful and KIND. The rest are absolutely rude and they ignore you and love you attitude. I wouldn't recommend this place what so ever. -10/10

As a citizen activist who picks up unsightly garbage in our community, I today picked up 3 large bags of garbage coming mainly off the back of Kroger and spread all along Long Lake /Telegraph, and surrounding properties. The entire corner and across the street was riddled with garbage consisting mainly of plastic bottles, cans, wipes, plastic bags, and masks. Please have the area attended to as it speaks badly for the entire corner so many pass by each day. A real eyesore in the community.

Aside from being a block away from my house, I'd honestly come here just to see Robin. What a sweetheart that's amazing at her job!!! Thank you for all you do.

The store was somewhat well kept but the employees are rude. I asked where the bathroom was and the older lady stated "it's just back there" so another younger employee probably around my age said where it was kindly to me. Then during checkout, noted my boyfriend and I do instacart, my boyfriend forgot to click two buttons to finish the checkout and he apologized immediately but her initial response was "excuse me, you need to finish this" but not in a kind way. Also the toilet paper bag ripped and he asked if he can go replace it since it is for someone for instacart and she quickly snapped saying it was fine. The manager was nice to let him replace but kind of didn't care about the rude employee which i know employees are hard to find but maybe say something? Hope you guys get your employees together. I work customer service and I deal with rude people but why be rude to the ones who are nice?

Purchased a package of pork shoulder from this Kroger store on the 28th night, open the package on 29th morning and the stench almost knocked me over. Came to realize the sell-by date was the 27th. Called the store and they agreed to a refund but required me to bring the pork in, in addition to the packaging and receipt. I confirmed that the receipt and packaging showing the sell-by wasn't enough. No, not going to dig that slimy stinking pork out of the garbage and let it stink up my car for $12.

This is not my closest Kroger so I don't shop here on any regular basis. I do, however, drive by here periodically. I do most of my shopping at other brands such as Costco and Meijer because they are much closer to my home. But I'm always gonna watch out for deals wherever I can find them including taking a few minutes to review the ads each week. Then depending on what it is and how good the discount is, I plan a stop at whichever Kroger location fits my route. That's how I do occasionally end up at this location. Because I do generally know the store layout, I normally get in, quickly find what I'm looking for, checkout, and go. Once in a while I need to ask where something is located. In that case I've had experiences similar to other reviewers, first is actually finding someone or going to the service desk. When I do find someone, often they seem like I'm interfering with whatever they are doing. Fortunately I don't stop here all that often. I have recently started driving past here on a more regular basis and I now watch out for sales and specials since it's on my route. They do offer good deals regularly but I still comparison shop.

We like Kroger. And this Kroger. I've done a side-by-side cost comparison of my shopping list at Meijer and at Kroger, and Kroger is much less expensive, to the tune of $15 to $20 per trip (of about 70 items). And this Kroger has curbside pickup, so I place the order on the app and Hubby picks it up in front of the store. The cost is $4.95 per pickup. In my mind, this beats Shipt, which does deliver the groceries to your door, but which costs $99/year plus a tip each time and I typically tip between $10 and $15 per delivery. So, by using curbside pickup at Kroger instead of Shipt at Meijer, I am saving between $25 and $35 dollars per shopping trip for the same items. Oh, and it's a little weird to me to have the Shipt shoppers come into the house; I never order Shipt if the house isn't cleaned, so that's another reason to have Hubby pick the stuff up.

This is a much smaller Kroger than what I am used to. It was a little difficult to navigate things. My boyfriend's mom has never been to a Kroger and asked a gentleman if they had a type of dressing that stays in a cold section. He looked at her like she was stupid and told her ALL DRESSINGS are in dressing isle obviously. I was a bit surprised how rude he was with her. I told her to follow me and explained that usually they have the cold dressinngs near the lettuce area. He just turned away and didn't care. Sure enough we found some there.... even though he claimed all were only in one section. He also didnt know if they had the one she wanted, and he didn't care to look. We also found the crumbled blue cheese as well. They also went to get flowers. The lady looked at us as if we were an inconvenience. She was in the process of putting those black holders in a grocey cart. She said she was cleaning them out. Wouldn't move the cart for us to look. We finally grabbed some. She was at the counter when we did. We tried getting her attention and finally we asked for a bag for the flowers. She just pointed and looked at us like we were stupid. I'm used to really good customer service at Kroger so I am a bit surprised.
