Saturday night. Dinner at 6pm. The noise level was overwhelming. The Scallops were ok. The Walleye was disappointing. The service was good. This used to be our go to restaurant. There are better choices.

Food was horrible. It took forever for them to get food out. Cheap quality frozen battered fish (they did not hand batter it themselves!!) was not cooked properly. Undercooked and totally saturated with oil. So they did not have their fryer up to the proper temp. Fries and potato wedges were old and nasty. When it was brought up to the waitress she said she would have them remake it. I told them not to bother with mine only remake my girlfriends, but she had them remake mine as well. I will say this, the waitress was very good and the french onion soup was very good. However, the food quality was at best on par with Rams Horn or Denny's and priced way above that (over $20 for fish & chips). They didn't even discount the bill after everything that happened. Definitely not going back again!

A warm and inviting , well road side inn with a vibrant bar and rustic wood interior with warm lighting. The service was so friendly and attentive and the menu was stacked with Great Lake front favorites and coastal specialties! Broiled white fish plate was outstanding - also great side salads and starters. The guacamole and tortilla chips was homemade and truly delicious. Went great with our old fashions and full bar drink specialties!

This place was just ok. I had the short rib burrito and my wife had the meatloaf. We also had the potato chip appetizer. Chips were made inhouse with cheese, bacon and a sauce. Pretty average. The meatloaf was bland, average sized and came with mashed potatoes. The burrito was pretty big and came with a "spicy" rojo sauce. Heat levels vary by person so I won't comment on it. The food was overpriced (even with today's food costs) and just lacked flavor. The service was good. No complaints. I don't think we'll be back.Parking: Plenty of parking behind the building.

Food and service were exceptional. I had the Blackened beef tenderloin which was served over pasta with spinach and grilled brussel sprouts. We also had the walleye which was served over a potato, bacon, and squash hash. Both were very very good. The blueberry martini was delicious. Server was very attentive and made sure everything was to our liking. We will be back!

Have been here multiple times over the last few weeks and the food keeps getting worse as does the attitude of the workers. The first time I had the chicken dish and it was great. The second time I ordered it again and it came out almost cold with wilted arugula and melted Parmesan on top. Both were supposed to be fresh. It was almost inedible. Plus the server acted as if we inconvenienced him. The llast time I had the 'special' flatbread. It was literally undercooked pillsbury dough from a can with a few pieces of arugula and feta on top. The staff have such an attitude. As if this is a five star restaurant. Won't be back.

AMAZING dinner this evening! The food was excellent, even for my foodie who has very high standards. Just as importantly, the front of the house was amazing as well. We sat at the bar and the service from the bartenders to the friendly host was impeccable. So great to have such an exceptional experience. Thank you!

My wife stopped for a couple of drinks and an appetizer on a Friday night. The wait for a table was about an hour in the dining area. We were able to get a table on the covered and heated patio to avoid the wait. We could have also chosen to eat at the bar. We started with a drink. My wife had the Blueberry martini, which she really enjoyed. It was like a frozen drink. The vodka and lemonade took off the tart/sweet of the blueberry. We chose the brussel sprouts for our appetizers which were very good. They are on the better side of this popular appetizer. I would not say the brussels are different, but they are better in my opinion. We finished with cups of the tomato-basil soup, which were good. This is our third time here, and is one of my wife's faves. The atmosphere is upscale bistro. It is very cute inside. The crowd is older and more on the businessy side. I appreciate the menu is on the shorter side. The portions tend to the smaller side, which I appreciate. The service has been attentive and excellent every visit.

We used to really like Roadside but OMG they are now just terrible. I asked for no croutons in my onion soup and ceasar salad. They ignored me on both and added them. The caesar salad was the saddest salad i ever saw. Tiny pieces of flavorless chicken. My daughter's shrimp on her salad was literally raw on one side of all the pieces. We if course returned it and at least 15 minutes passed before they brought it back. No discount on the bill for this either. We will never go back. Just so awful.Dietary restrictions: They ignored my request for no croutons and i had to pick them out
