Ladies of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul of Oakland County

What We Do We operate a Clothes Closet and Food Pantry on the campus of St. Hugo of the Hills Parish, and fill thousands of order presented by social workers who make home visits. The Clothes Closet and Food Pantry also provides Easter and Thanksgiving meals to hundreds of people each year. In November, we provide roasted and frozen turkeys to the Robert Matchan Nutrition Center for Thanksgiving dinner and for additional meals. At Christmas, we seek assistance of local schools, clubs, and generous individuals to provide food and toys for hundreds of needy families referred to us by the social workers and local parishes. This huge operation needs help from every member. Throughout the year, we visit and elderly in nursing homes.
