Great doggie spa; especially smaller dogs; altho my friend brings her doodles there, and they're about 60lbs. The owner comes out to get my dog and delivers him to my car when I pull up. Great service!

I work at Jps Grooming Spa and I think its a really fun and productive workplace. The owner Ken is a good boss that helps me succeed. The dogs that come in for their salon appointments are so cute! I care about dogs so I feel this job is very rewarding and I love giving dogs their spa day.

JPs grooming spa uses top quality dog shampoo! My dog loves the Natures Specialties Berry shampoo. It’s non-toxic and safe for my fur baby. She smells amazing after a bath with it. JPs has the cutest dog clothes in their boutique. I bought a Jean skirt and top for my teacup Maltese and she looks like a fashionista.

Ken and crew take great care of our getting-to-be senior citizen Cavalier. She always looks great and doesn't mind being there, so I know they're good to her!

I have been with JP for 5 years. Have triedMany of the groomers in the area and JP is the best. My Maltese, Ranger, is happy when going for a grooming. Ken is very affectionate with my dog and I trust him. He has the dog done quickly and Is efficient in his Buisness. Great experience every time.

TERRIBLE grooming spa. Manager is an A******* He yells at the dogs and hits the cages if the dogs are barking and tells them to SHUT UP. I walked in one day and heard him yelling and cussing at the people who work for him too. He has a bad temper. I won't ever trust him with my dog again. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Absolutely terrible business. Don't go here.

At first I thought JP’s was good and I liked the one groomer, I think her name was Jen. However each time I took my dog she started to shake the minute she knew where we were going. The VERY last time I was greeted at the door by Ken angrily telling me the grooming was going to be more because Sadie was matted, which I thought unusual because Sadie has relatively short hair and I took her every four weeks. The mat was behind the ear and was still there which explains a lot. Janet and the groomer both came out but said nothing. At that point I realized Sadie had been mistreated. I paid and left never to return. It has been a long process to get my dog to trust another groomer but she finally has however Sadie will not let anyone come near here face. The vet she has always gone to noticed this change and feel it is because someone abused her. That abuse happened at JP’s because she was fine before I took her there for grooming. I wasn’t going to write but ironically I met a former GP groomer and she said Ken is very mean to the dogs. I have noticed the Help Wanted sign seems to be permanent. All this is too bad because I did like his wife’s food store.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The owners of this business are extremely rude to both customers and workers and are known to lose their temper at the drop of a hat. I couldn't believe the way they talk to people and are still in business. They also seem to have a permanent "we're hiring" sign in the window, probably because they treat their staff like trash and go through their employees like garbage. Do not subject yourself to these jerks and take your business elsewhere

It has been so hard to find a groomer that could schedule appointments 1 week in advance, and Jp's did it! Not only is my dog happy, but he looks adorable and smells great. Ken listened to my grooming requests and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Will be bringing my dog back as soon as he is due for another haircut!

Let me preface that I give people the benefit of the doubt but this is the second time it has happened and I can't have it happen again. Today one of my Pups came home favoring one eye. She kept closing it and rubbing it. It was pretty red so I had to take her to an emergency vet. After her eye was stained and examined I was told it was a soap ulcer. Was told that whoever bathed her was pretty careless and used too much of the harsh soap. I'm pretty livid, I won't sugar coat it. I won't be back and I have been going here for at least 6yrs.

So our old groomer changed professions and we ended up here at JP's Grooming Spa in good ole Bloomfield Hills. Minutes from the house, it's all good right?

JP's LOST our dog Teddy while he was in for a groom. The owner Ken helped us look for a while then had to leave as it was a Saturday. We spent the next nine hours looking for him and found him in a sewer with the help of friends, Bloomfield Hills Police and Fire.
