I get nothing but the highest of compliments when I wear anything purchased at Tender! Unique, stylish clothing that no other store has. Sales staff TELL THE TRUTH if it suits you or not. Prices are no more than Saks/Neiman's higher end items but this selection is par none. Love the owners, both pleasant, fun ladies!

The customer service was not elevated to the standard I thought it would be. For a luxury store, you would expect the interior to be contemporary and a reflection of the times, but much of the inside is outdated and stuck in a late 2010s Time Machine of irrelevance. Currently, I live in New York and work as a buyer for a litany of high end department stores, and luxury boutiques, and the way I was spoken down to was quite ghastly. The only real emerging designers that Tender carries are Puppets & Puppets, Simone Rocha, Dries Van Noten, and Marni; but they hardly carried anything that was of note from any of the designers. What the owners had picked out from the most recent collections were underwhelming, and demode. Shop here if you want to scream to the world that you suffer from a tactless case of incurable nouveau riche taste. I suggest the owners should try to visit authentic luxury boutiques in real metropolitan cities to learn true sartorial quiet luxury sensibility.

Tender offers what many boutiques don't - variety and fresh designs. Many small stores and department stores stock the same designers and trends, but Tender has their pulse on the latest fashions from Europe, and what's hot for the season. As a stylist from LA, I love coming into the store for fresh finds. I especially love their shoe selection. Go visit Sophia - the kind and stylish sales girl, she's helpful and has a good eye for what you might be looking for. You won't regret stepping in for a look and buying a fresh item or two for your wardrobe.

With little time to spare, I happened into Tender because I found a parking spot nearby. What an unexpected treasure representing fabulous designers and articles for a discerning buyer. Cheryl was most helpful as it was my first visit. Gorgeous clothes and shoes!I will be back!

Walked in and the lady behind counter immediately directed me downstairs because the items are “less” and when I asked “less than what” she responded “than what you can afford”. Haha I wish she knew what I could afford. Walked right out. How is this place in business? Disgusting - don’t support this store.

They have interesting small designers for an insane markup. Also the most aggressive sales strategy. There is no browsing in this place. So uncomfortable.

If you want to stand out from the crowd in a sophisticated, classy and unique way then this is the store for you. These clothes cannot be found easily elsewhere, if at all! I went there from California where we have numerous high fashion stores but none to compare to the gorgeous finds here. The staff is attentive and listens closely to your needs and styling desires. You will not be disappointed !

Unfortunately, if you are African-American, the store employee(s) will follow you around while you browse. You have no room to shop comfortably, nor will you feel like you belong in the store. Other non-black customers came into the store and I payed attention to the treatment they received. They had the liberty to shop and browse freely.

This place is a miserable experience! It feels as though you're on an old school used car lot, being followed and hounded, completely pressured to buy. I don't know where management has learned customer service but it was a turn off. Especially when you are able to get the same merchandise elsewhere. Even buying online and having to return items would be much more enjoyable! NO THANK YOU

This place is hilarious. I don't recommend walking in with sweats on. A lot of salespeople with no customers giving you the once-over. Which is SO fun. Am sure if they'd seen the black Amex burning a hole in my pocket, their attitude might have adjusted a teensy bit. Would love to have my Pretty Woman moment here. For better or for worse, this store def represents "Birmingham."

I have never felt more uncomfortable than I did this afternoon. They sized me up and down and then proceeded to tell me there was nothing in the store that would suit my needs. I felt very snubbed and the customer service was horrible.. they will not be seeing my face or pocket book again.
