We were successful with the sale of our unique mid-century modern home in Bloomfield. We were also thrilled with our newly purchased Bloomfield home, which we had to win in a competitive bidding situation. Buying and selling homes is often a difficult experience because it involves success with a million details, at the same time, managing to a complex set of important emotional and financial considerations. As a hands-on business owner myself, I was truly impressed by Kathy's attention to detail and personal assistance throughout the whole process and all transactions. As a buyer and seller there were moments I didn't want to hear the truth, either because it didn't fit my narrative, or because I had other realtors in my ear placating me with their inexperience or disingenuous opinions.

All realtors are fiercely competitive and if I had to do these millions of dollars in transactions all over again, I would still choose Kathy. She's the kind of rare talent that I want working on my behalf and fighting for my best interests. Everyone has opinions, especially when it comes to realtor choice, and this experience has reaffirmed what I always suspected to be true. She's the most successful realtor for a reason. Kathy is the best, and as a result you can expect that every other realtor is mostly jealous, and of course, will try and talk you into making a different decision. I really did hear it all, and she truly was as hands-on herself and competently supported by her team as if we were her only clients. It didn't matter what time of day, or what day of the week, she was always fast to respond.

You shouldn't gift your listing to someone because you are friends or feel pressured. Selling and buying is a competitive process and you should expect your realtor to work their hardest and perform their fiduciary responsibility to truly earn their commission. When I stopped fighting my inclination to micro manage these processes and simply had faith in her by giving her my trust, everything went according to plan and ultimately exceeded expectations. Why on earth wouldn't you choose someone with over a billion dollars in lifetime sales if you had the opportunity? I did, and now we enjoy these beautiful views every day... thanks, Kathy!”

“This restaurant is across woodward from the downtown area so parking is a bit easier. There is valet or street parking down the block. The restaurant is beautiful with lots of windows and a very clean look. The service was very professional and kind. They even split the dishes for us and brought extra plates. The short rib cannelloni was really good- it was a lot of meat to the pasta/breading on the outside and the sunchoke puree and roasted sunchoke were a bit sweet to balance the salty meat. I hadn't ever had that vegetable before (it is a but like a potato and a bit like an artichoke). The salmon was not very good- it was pretty bland and the crème fraiche sauce was watery. We also got the house salad and that was really delicious with avocado and pistachios, highly recommend!”

“Hands down I will refer Caroline Nelson. Matter of fact I will shout that from the rooftops if need be. The long and skinny of it is...I found a condo I fell in love with. Did inspection, appraisal and next step title company. Lo and behold the deed was flagged fraudulent. Title company says the rightful owners were in probate. Find them and you can save your deal. Side by side we tracked down the rightful sellers. Unbeknownst to us this deal had a lot of valleys. Didn't matter to me I wanted this place. Not knowing the outcome she stuck by me, though court dates, legal proceedings, etc. There are Realtors that surely would have advised me to pass it by and not assist any further on a deal they weren't sure would come into fruition. Not Caroline! Patience is truly her virtue as this deal was unnerving. At the very last moment the deal had threatened to go awry once again. I was done. Caroline wouldn't let me throw in the towel. She said you wanted this, this is just a bump in the road. This deal is as good as done, stay in there. She was right!! I am enjoying my place and space so very much.
