I came back to Eda ( the owner) after a few years thinking I’d be in good hands. I scheduled an appointment and she reached out a week later saying something came up and she couldn’t do it. Then after asking she agreed to take me at a later time that day. She’s def a nice person but lacks customer service. My appointment was to include a blow dry and she rushed through my hair, left dark hair dye stains all over my face and then told me she didn’t have time to blow dry my hair. But had the audacity to charge me for it. She has different prices in her kind than on the website upon booking and then will try and tell you that you are receiving a “deal” I am extremely disappointed. I messaged her so I wouldn’t have to leave a bad review but here I am. I asked why my roots were done in such a poor manner than my face had hair dye on it she replied “use lotion” and didn’t care that she charged so much, rushed my appointment, didn’t complete services and then over charged. She defended her lack of care which led me here to this Google review. Spare yourself the disappointment and cost. You will be left to feel cheated and unhappy. Not to mention hair dye all over your skin that will don’t remove for 1.5 weeks. Take your money to a place that will put you first and give you respect and what you pay for.

Eda is amazing? She was really patient with all my questions during the consultation and exactly knew what I wanted. I was looking for a subtle blended look and Eda achieved it perfectly. She is someone you can trust completely. 10/10

Eda is my favorite hair stylist I have ever been to. She is sweet and truly a natural at her talent! I drive all the way from Lansing for her services. I have never been disappointed with my hair since I started coming to her.

All I have to say about Eda is she is amazing! I found her ab year ago and I have not gone to anyone else since I found her! She always amazes me with her magic. I'll tell her what I have in mind she has exceeded my expectations every time. Not only is she an amazing stylist, but a loving sweet soul. She got to know me as a person and she is very understanding. I highly recommend booking an appointment with Eda for your balayage!!

Eda is a wonderfully gifted stylist and balayage expert. She takes the time to find out what your individual hair goals are, and gives you the options to achieve them. Eda is professionally knowledgeable and sweetly personable. She has a kind and sweet nature about her that she transfers into her passion for hair. I came in for an appointment to transition my blonde balayage to to charcoal. Eda told me that we would use permanent dye to transition from light to dark instead of toner and that the color we were using would not fade. My appointment lasted less than 30 minutes and I was charged $200. My hair turned out to be a dark tone with an extremely vibrant purple tint. All of these things led me to believe that all she did was apply a toner instead of what we discussed, but I continued to trust her and the process.It's been less than 2 weeks since my appointment, and my hair has now completely faded and is back to blonde. Although it looks way worse than what I came in with, the most disappointing part of this entire situation is the way Eda handled it when I reached out to her. When I was finally able to speak to her after ignoring my messages for days, she told me that results are never guaranteed and she could not fix it. I explained that a redo or refund would be the appropriate way to handle this, to which she stated that the only resolution would be for her to "email me a hair lesson" due to my lack of knowledge in coloring services. I remained calm and collected despite her remarks, but she concluded our conversation by abruptly hanging up on me before exclaiming that she doesn't have time for this because she has a busy personal life. As a business owner, I cannot emphasize how unethical and unprofessional it is to use your personal life as a reason to negate accountability for a faulty service. Every single salon I've been to has standardized protocols in place when a service is non-satisfactory except for this one, so I definitely do NOT recommend coming here if you care about your hair.

I am writing this review to hopefully prevent someone from having the disturbing experience that I did at this salon. My $200 are down the drain with a hair color I didn't ask for, and I was degraded by Eda for asking if we could fix it. If you're looking for a hair stylist that takes accountability and handles complications in an ethical manner, I highly do not recommend coming here. I contacted Eda to schedule an appointment for hair dye. I had a blonde balayage and wanted to go back to darker hair. Eda had reaffirmed me that we would use permanent dye to transition from light to dark since I had no plans of going back to blonde. She also told me that we would not be using any toner during our appointment and that my new hair color would not fade. My appointment lasted less than 30 minutes. There was something placed on my hair for 15 minutes, it was blow dried, and then I was handed a $200 bill. I had never spent that much money on a hair dye service as simple/quick as this one, and I was pretty confused. When I left the salon, I noticed my hair had a vibrant purple tint to it, which is exactly how my hair has looked in the past when I received toning services. Less than 2 weeks after my appointment, my hair is now completely back to blonde. Not only is the color the opposite of what I wanted, it looks even worse than my hair did before. However, the most disappointing part of this experience is the way Eda handled this situation. When I messaged her some photos of my hair explaining that it had reverted back to blonde, she ignored my message for days and then eventually gave me an automated response that I could book another appointment through her link (which has a 1 month wait). She gave me no explanation. I proceeded to ask if she could give me a call to discuss this further and she continued to dismiss my messages. I was able to finally speak with her on the phone today. To begin, she offered no solution for this situation, even when I explained that I felt a redo or refund would be a very simple and appropriate way to handle this. She said the only thing she could do to fix this is "email me a hair lesson" so that I can increase my knowledge of hair coloring services. I don't see how that would be an appropriate solution at all. She eventually hung up on me by yelling that she is a "single mother" and "doesn't have time for stuff like this". Although I understand how difficult that may be, it is beyond unprofessional and unethical to intertwine your personal life into your business and make them like feel their concerns aren't valid because you have "issues that are more important than your business".

Eda is simply amazing and she knows what she is doing! I've always left loving how my hair looks. I am so glad di was able to find her. She's very knowledgeable and gives great advice! I actually told her to do what looks good and she worked her magic!!! Highly reccomend her!

I admit I know next to nothing about hair, except wanting to keep all I can of what I have. With my experience being limited to the basics (to say the least), I felt inclined to write this after seeing some of Eda’s work first-hand. While seeking a simple men’s haircut (i.e.: your typical barber shop), I was lucky enough to connect with Eda. Despite not being her typical client, she was gracious enough to agree to offer me her services. Throughout my process, I was lucky enough to gain visibility into the services other clients were having performed. This provided me with the opportunity to learn what was possible after seeing a true representation of “before” and “after” – which in all honesty – is nothing short of remarkable. In addition to that, I was treated to witness the absolute delight, and sincere gratitude, from those obtaining services which were obviously much more advanced than my own. Even after everything I observed, I still know very little about hair. However, I now have a new-found appreciation for its beauty, along with the art of seeing how a true professional works with clients. Whether it be sharing advice or providing hands-on services, the patience, attentiveness, and joy with which Eda operates is second to none. If you’re wondering – yes – after she was done my hair looked different and better than ever before. Going forward, despite being unable to have her perform her magic whenever needed, I now have a much better understanding of what someone, like Eda, with her incredible passion and amazing talent can do!Services: Hair regrowth

She took time to listen to what I wanted, while also giving her professional opinion on what would look best for my skin tone and face shape. Eda is so amazing, she is a magician when it comes to hair. Her experience, talent and understanding of how hair can react to different applications gives her the ability to provide her clients the best advice. I went from a brunette to the most beautiful blonde. This was done over time to make sure my hair does not get damaged. With 3 sessions in and having no damages, soft, shinny blonde is amazing. The hair is a bit dry but that's what happens through bleaching and Eda makes sure to be gentle and conscious of keeping the hair in the best shape with any application you are interested in. Eda lets you know and follows up with you on how to keep your hair healthy after any treatment which just shows how attentive she is and that she really cares.I have done balayage, color blend, melting, baby lights, and so much more to get my hair to where I want it to be and Eda made that process welcoming and possible.
