I’ve been going here for about 6 years now. Everyone is amazing, but lately I’ve been going to Rachel! She always takes her time and leaves me leaving looking fresh. She’s also amazing at eyebrow waxing and beard trims!

I booked an appointment for 1:30 and showed up 5 minutes before the appointment. Was told to wait for a few minutes as stylist was “just finishing up”. Same thing a couple of times more and finally after waiting for almost half an hour, the stylist comes up and says it would be another 15 minutes or so. She wanted me to know as she was respectful of my time. Not after waiting that long. I left and I am not going back again.

An inexperienced stylist just messed up my teenage son's flow. He is devastated. Will NOT be going back. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!!
Update: Rachel recut his hair and it looks much better. Manager refunded our money.

This is the best place for haircuts, beards and more. I have tried several stylists at this location and they are all friendly professional and focused on good service.
Now if exceptional is what you are looking for, you need to seek Rachel. Her level of expertise, attention to detail and friendly service makes the entire experience a fantastic one. Well done Lady Jane’s and thank you Rachel for always delivering the perfect haircut!!

I love love LOVE this place. I cannot even begin to express how this salon changed my life. I spent the first 20 years of my life going to Great Clips and leaving miserable every single time.
My first appointment here was a walk-in with Cassie. It was a really big haircut I was getting so my hair was easier to maintain after a major procedure I had the next day. She explained dozens of different options for styles and cuts and made sure to ask me exactly what I was looking for before starting my cut. I come back every 3-4 weeks and I'm just as happy every single time.
It's clear that this place cares about their clients and how they look.
They also have a ton of space and comfortable seating options if you get there early and a great coffee shop connected to it.
100% would recommend to anybody regardless of what they're looking for. You'll find it here.

I have lived in the area for a long time and I tended to bounce around every few months to wherever was convenient to get a hair cut. That is until I walked into the Lady Janes in Birmingham. I was lucky enough to sit down with Cassie Bond and not only did I receive a great haircut, I enjoyed my experience both with her and the idea that the location wasn't just a barber shop but a cool place to be.

Inexperienced barber butchered my son's back to school haircut. He is devastated! She needed to have someone else finish the cut for her because of her mistakes! Never going back!!! Update: Rachel recut my son's hair and it looks much better. Manager called and refunded our money.

The salon is only as good as a consistent stylist and also a front desk who listens to you while you’re making an appointment. 7/25/24 I needed a cut badly and I booked this day two days earlier with the understanding that I was with the last previous stylist who cut my hair (I forgot her name but I told the girl who took my appointment they she had the first chair by the coffee shop.) Well she booked it with the opposite girl by the podcast studio; I said on the phone that was not the girl—not the girl that cut my hair last) I arrived and it was not Bethany; it was w the girl from 2022 and I was not please w my cut then and not pleased w my cut today. 5/10 rating but I still tipped her 40%.
This place needs to get back on a quality track if it’s the flagship salon.

It must be a good place because it was busy but we just got unlucky. Our hairdresser cut at least 3 inches of hair when the request was only one. I recommend that the owner walks through and oversees what’s going on. I’m never going back but it’s unfair for a great place/design and location to be misrepresented by just one worker.

I usually go there and the girls are so nice and professional. This time I had my haircut with some new girl named Emma, she said she's been there for a month. The haircut is just bad, the hair is uneven and not well trimmed. When I complained she said my hair is the problem and not her not knowing how to do her job. It really sucks that such a great place hire incompetent people. Make it kinda hit or miss to go there ...

Called in as new customer, told can walk in no wait. Walked in and told 20 minutes. Waited hour and thirty minutes without any updates. Ended up leaving before cut occurred.
