Jax Kar Wash & Auto Detailing is a local, family-owned business serving Michigan and Wisconsin, recently expanding with the Jilly’s brand. Their priority is delivering expert car washing services and high-quality customer service, using only soft cloths, high-pressure fresh water, and mild soaps without harmful brushes. The detail team does a great job, and the customer service at the front desk is awesome, with management being friendly and accommodating, sometimes offering a free wash as a redo when needed. However, several reviews note inconsistencies. Customers report that the service is not always the same, with vehicles sometimes left very dirty, especially on specific models like wranglers. Some feel the wash is not thorough, noting that the bottom of the car is not cleaned despite an underbody wash membership, and windows are focused on instead. There are also issues with the drying process, with no one available to dry the car after a tip is given. The layout can cause problems, with customers pulling up too close during scrubbing. While management is responsive and the team is friendly, these inconsistencies lead some customers to feel the service does not match the price and that they need to do better, especially with many other options available.

They’re getting better but……..last time I was at their car wash on Michigan av in Howell, mi I put a $5 tip on my card before I got the wash, when the wash was done no one there to dry the car so I was out a $5 charge on my card.
