I have owned Porsches for more than 25 years. NO ONE should take their car here for service!
I don’t say this lightly, they are liars and crooks. . .I brought my car in for general service and was told it needed a lot of work which I trusted them and did exactly as they advised.
Less than 50 miles / 30 days later, an issue from the work they did arose. After being told one thing originally, the next day, the issue changed and they charged me again to fix the issue they created. . .This is after keeping my car for two weeks.
John Kuhlman in service should not have a job. DO NOT GO TO FRED LAVERY FOR SERVICE OF YOUR PORSCHE!

If you ever find yourself at this dealership, ask for Floyd. This man makes dreams come true! I gave him my budget and he worked with me. Super patient, knowledgeable guy. Helped me ship the car all the way to GA. Helped me with the whole process buying a car out of state. He is the salesman to go to at this dealership 100%

Don’t do business here. Stopped by today, the sales rep would not even greet me. I’m a five time Porsche owner new to town and looking to buy another one and get an introduction to have mine serviced. Go anywhere but here. Just ordered a 911 from another dealer. They don’t even care enough to answer their own bad reviews.

This is the place to go. Not only are these businesses honest. But every business there associated with are all highly charismatic individuals with care for your time and experience. If you need a vehicle don't waste your time and show up to a shop that Fred owns. Mark my words !!!!!!

This is the worst Porsche dealership I have been to out of the 4 I have used. As a female, the service staff treated me as if I knew nothing. I was in the market for a new Porsche and never received a call back from the Sales side. They are not accommodating. The did not even run the car through the car wash. If you pay $500+ for maintenance you would at least expect it to be ran through a car wash. I will never bring the car back here. I will only go to Porsche Detroit North moving forward. This was a few months ago - so maybe something has changed but the experience at Porsche Detroit North was 10X better!

Update: had a one-star experience with them. However, their manager called me and heard me out. Sometimes it’s as simple as letting your customers complain and rant to feel heard, which he did versus blaming me or shutting me down. Immense respect for that and review changes to 5 stars. If they’re going to hear you out without doing biz with you, says a lot.Unbelievably bad sales experience. I went in, wanted to buy a Macan, filled out an application, then they told me they’d get back to me. What dealer let’s a buyer walk out of the showroom? Financing takes a hour, max. It’s like they didn’t want to sell me a car which seems opposite of the entire dealership business model. Finally, 3 days later they contacted me with potential financing terms. When I’m buying a $70,000+ car, I want someone eager to sell me one and to work with me. Instead I went out of my way to Rochester Hills Audi (forget these Fred Lavery clowns) and left with a SQ5 (with $0 down) versus the Macan S I was originally willing to buy. If they’re not even motivated to sell you a car, can’t imagine dealing with them after you buy one.

Just purchased my third car from Fred Lavery Porsche. As always, my wife and I were treated very well by Ray, our Sales Associate. No pressure tactics or questionable upsells, just the facts along with pleasant conversation and efficient handling of the paperwork. A first-class experience and the way car buying *should* be.

Only used Fred Lavery service for my Porsche Cayenne, in the last year alone I've had to bring my car in for service 5 times and 3 of the times it needed to be towed in. They do not warranty any of their work or stand by it and now it needs service for the same problem I had a year ago that they "fixed" take your car other places for service if you value your time and money
