This is definitely the best cleaners in town! My shirts have never looked so good. In fact, they look better than when I bought them new. My white shirts tend to get a little yellow around the collar and around the cuffs and it’s absolutely magical what they were able to do to my shirts. I was very happy to hear that they had a full-time seamstress and she was able to fix my pants and my sport coats to make it look custom-made. The staff is incredibly friendly and their work is truly unmatched. Thank you Douglas Cleaners! I’m only sorry I didn’t find you sooner!

Douglas cleaners is by far the best anywhere around! Their customer service is outstanding, and the quality is even better! They are quick, courteous, and always on time! I came in last week and I had an emergency, and Amy got it done for me the next morning! And it looked Even better than I expected! I was even more excited when I found out they had an on-site master tailor. It’s really hard to find somebody close by that is reasonable and does Excellent work. I also found out that they clean rugs Leather and suede. It’s truly a one stop shop!

Tried Douglas Cleaners for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this place, service was good and fast, they did an excellent job on both dry cleaning and alterations I requested, possibly the best I’ve ever experienced. Prices are definitely a bit on the higher side but they definitely reflect quality service they provide.

Amazing results!!! Amy worked her magic on a bridesmaid dress that a competitor’s store completely stained with dry cleaner fluid. The dress wasn’t wearable and I thought it was ruined. Douglas Cleaners saved the day!!! Amy worked on it all week, cleaned it several times, and it’s better than new. I included a picture of the stains she was working with - truly a labor of love. For anyone looking for a high end dry cleaner in the Birmingham area I highly recommend this business. I made the switch to Douglas cleaners just over a year ago and have been blown away at the level of service and attention to detail with their work. One of the biggest benefits for me is being able to bring things in on short notice when a trip comes up and not having to worry about if my clothes will be done in time. As busy as I get, it’s really nice to have a place I can rely on and one less thing to stress about in my day to day :)

We switched to Douglas cleaner just over a year ago and have had such a great experience. They are always on time and do a great job with whatever I bring in. A special shout out to Amy, the owner, who always make sure that everything is taken care of and done fast and perfectly!

Owners are awesome and delivered on a one day turn around when i needed it the most. Didn't promise me anything but said they would put their best food forward and they sure did deliver. couldn't be any happier with their service and will be back in the future.

I love Douglas Cleaners. I drive from Toledo, Ohio an hour and a half just to have a good cleaning. I buy my boys expensive clothing which don't last if you don't have a great cleaner to get the stains out. For example I bought my son a Canadian Goose coat and my son changed his oil and worked on his car in his new coat, so covered in car grease I took his new coat to Douglas cleaners and they returned it to me looking brand new. I was in shock and thrilled they were able to get all of it out. The service is awesome and the drive isn't that bad when your getting amazing service!

We brought my daughter’s cherished Teddy Bear in for some extra special care. The staff and seamstress were fantastic and understood the importance of this item. The turnaround time was less than 24 hours! We received the Teddy Bear back in almost new condition: he was fluffed, puffed, re-stuffed and expertly cleaned. He smelled delicious! We received him back in a package with a little bow. My daughter had tears in her eyes when she saw him! Excellent customer service, expert care!!Services: Special care fabric cleaning

I noticed a large stain on my pants the night before the wedding. The owner took care of my issue last minute and got all of the stains out of my pants (even ones I didn’t notice). She was extremely accommodating and kept her machines on for me. My family and I have been going here for years and the service is and always has been amazing.Service: Special care fabric cleaning

The owner is rude and racist!!!!! Please be aware if you are black and in Birmingham this is not the place you want to give financial support. How dare you have the audacity to come back and reply!!!!!!! If someone is innocently sitting in their car and you approach them asking can I help you that is rude as hell. You did not ask anyone else who was in the parking lot what they were doing there. There were multiple cars of white people and you did not approach or question them. You specifically pulled up to ask me can I help you. I said no and you told me that I have to leave since I don't have businesses to conduct at your establishment. That is rude and racially profiling a person. I suggest you act with discretion and tact when approaching someone in the parkings lot of your business. If I was being rude or bothering someone I would understand but I did none of the above. You were unprofessional and totally out of line sir!!!!!!!!!!!!!
