The salad had absolutely zero taste as well as the pizza . Pizza taste like cardboard and the salad was like eating the paper that made the cardboard pizza .

Horrible service. Sexist. I, a women was waiting in line and they served the men behind me before getting to me standing in line. Pizza was cold and they almost gave my order to the man they helped before me who was standing behind me in line. Would not recommend to anyone.

I went in and was in line, two people were taken ahead of me even though I was there first. They gave me the pizza and it was cold and nasty. They did not seem very excited to help serve me. Would not

Horrible service, sexiest staff. I came in, waited in line and they served the people behind me as if I were invisible. Then they almost game my order to the person they served behind me. The pizza was cold. Would not like recommend.

Fast and delicious pizza by the slice. Can’t find anything as New York and delicious as this place anywhere else in Birmingham. The hellboy is phenomenal:)

Great thin crust New York style slices with cool combos of toppings. Great atmosphere and beer and cocktails too. We stopped for a couple of quick slices and a beer while out shopping. Definitely will go back.

Visting a friends home in Birmingham we got 3 pies for carry out. This was THE worst pizza I've ever had. It had absolutely none of the qualities normally associated with pizza. It didn't have any crispyness, not even the crust. The slices were so limp we had to basically fold them longitudinally to prevent them from flopping over like a wet rag. The dough must be un-risen; basically a double thick half cooked pita. The sauce was extremely minimal and tasted as if it's just stewed tomatoes out of the can, no herbs or garlic that I could discern.Strangely the bottom of the slices were significantly blackened. Strange because normally when dough gets hot enough to turn blackened it also becomes noticeably crispy, stiff, and bitter. As described above, these limp slices had none of those qualities. I strongly suspect this blackening is some sort of decoration they add to trick you into believing it was well cooked in a hot oven.Folks, just because a product costs significantly more than is typical does not mean that your getting a premium product. This place has completely pulled one over on you. They serve you a low quality product using a third of the ingredients and charge you more then double the going rate. Wealthy folks are suckers for this "If it cost more it MUST be premium." fallacy. To all low rankings this business will reply directly. The reason they do that is because the algorithm of Google Maps Ranking is driven by these replys. It's an automatic system whereby if a business responds to complaints google will make the business more likely to appear to a user searching "pizza". So, Brooklyn Pizza, please do not bother with a reply; your pizza is un-redeemable.

I have eaten here a lot over the last few years. In 2021 I probably ate here at least 25 times. I used to really really love it and have it nearly every day, because it reminded me of NY style pizza more than anything else in Michigan. Then, at some point in the fall of 2021, I noticed a marked decline in the quality of the food and overall experience. For example, there were several instances where I had ordered for delivery (in advance, too, specifically for an event that we were hosting at our house) and the food arrived late and/or not hot and soggy. So, I honestly felt turned off by it and stopped ordering from here as often as I had in the past.Over the last year or two, I have noticed that their food is always awesome if you’re dining in, but is not consistently great quality if you’re ordering for takeout or delivery.Ultimately, I really felt uncertain about what to rate this place. From April 2021 to Sept 2021-5 stars. From Oct 2021 to March 2022-3 stars. From April 2022 to present-4 stars. There are great things about it for sure, but I have had too many disappointing experiences to give it anything more than 4 stars, unfortunately.Parking: Parking, particularly when picking up, is very very difficult. You obviously can’t stop at Maple, and the street it is situated on rarely if ever has a free spot. So you have to pray that your food is ready when you inevitably double park your car right outside.

Overall, Brooklyn Pizza has great pizza. The only reason I'm not rating it 5 stars is because the chicken wings are less than desirable. They are very fatty and subpar. Try them, you will see. They are the worst I have ever eaten. If you want a great pizza, however, you can't go wrong. There's a reason they have been at that location for so long..

Not bad not good. The slice was soggy on the bottom, the slice lacked form and would flop when trying to hold. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and pricing was very fair.

Best thin crust pizza. My kiddos like the cheese and I like the tomato basil mozzarella
