Absolutely love walking this trail, one of the better parts of Big Rapids to me

Nice river walk with a few spots for shore fishing or to put your feet in the river. Well maintained path that seems wheel chair accessible (did not walk whole path)

A great place to walk-and-talk with a friend. Gradual hills are paved and fully accessible, with unpaved optional sections. There are periodic benches to catch a breath or an up-close river view. This trail opens into two area parks with playground and toilet facilities. This trail merges onto the White Pine Trail that goes for miles if you want that, or it connects just a few blocks from downtown businesses to explore.

This trail slaps! One of my favorite walks in Michigan, it is connected to so many walking options. It weaves over the Muskegon river and connects several parks. A highly coveted investment in the Big Rapids area well worth every penny.
