The Yoga Garden has a truly unique community, style of yoga, and is now such a sacred place for me. This studio is a good fit for a seasoned yogi since you have the freedom to flow on your own. If you are new to yoga, this staff is incredibly helpful and will be there for you every pose of the flow if you need. I was going through the loss of a loved one, and I will never forget how the staff provided comfort and love through my healing process. <3

This is an exceptionally run studio. The Yoga Garden provides beginners and advanced practitioners room to grow. The instructors are attentive to their students. They present options allowing for increasing levels of difficulty for those who want to take it while praising rest and reminding us to listen to what our bodies need. I’ve practiced yoga for over twenty years and have been with the garden for five. This place is equally challenging and nourishing?

I really like the Yoga Garden. The instructors use there expertise to bring out the best in their students. The classes are challenging but options are always offered so you can modify for your own personal needs. It’s a no judgement zone with a lot of well placed encouragement.I’ve gained flexibility in my shoulders and my husband, who was hesitant at first to join me, is now a fan.I credit the instructors for their ability to respond to their students. I think they read their students well.And I like my fellow students. I always leave feeling happy and a little taller?

Awesome yoga studio which offer students a variety of classes that are taught by very friendly and experienced teachers. Classes available to all levels-methodically designed flows that help each student reach ‘their’ edge. Super clean studio?!

The Yoga Garden is a fantastic studio for the yoga novice, advanced practitioner, and any experience level between. Classes are always an unbelievable workout. The community is collectively genuinely inclusive, supportive, and friendly. The studio is extremely clean and the environment is calming. I’d recommend this studio to anyone!

The Yoga Garden is an amazing place full of wonderful people. The teachers are talented, encouraging, and caring. Classes are challenging, but fun and I always end practice feeling a sense of accomplishment. I've grown tremendously both on and off my mat as a result of time spent in this studio. I highly recommend The Yoga Garden!! The studio, front desk staff and instructors are beyond kind and welcoming. There’s a wonderful variety of classes, all of which are challenging, motivating, and so healing for both the mind and body. Classes are for all levels….come as you are. As an industry professional, I highly recommend that you DO NOT attend this studio. Raina made me feel extremely uncomfortable. For a yoga teacher, she’s not very zen. This place also needs a deep cleaning.

I'm a bit older and working to fight off the aging process, Love Love this place and the instructors...I'm continually getting stronger, feeling better, Mentally as well as physically. So 66 years young thanks to this marvelous practice.

The Yoga Garden is a blend of skilled yoga teachers, highly pleasant staff and a great environment to practice yoga. We have been long term students and I can honestly say it keeps getting better. Not enough kind adjectives to heap on these great folks!

We are visiting from out of town and came to the studio for a good sweat and workout and we were not disappointed! We took a class with Krysti and it was so amazing! She had a great mix of classic yoga with a modern take, breath work, classic poses with strengthening movements blended into the class. The music was fun and upbeat but yet still kept you grounded. When we come into town we will be looking to take our next class with her! My husband loved it as well.

The Yoga Garden is more than a yoga studio - it is a community filled with kindness, authenticity and support. Raina, Martin and the entire team were gracious and welcoming from day one, and I feel beyond grateful to have found this gem during my brief time living in Detroit. I miss the empowering classes as well as the amazing playlists! If you’re looking for an unpretentious place to challenge yourself and connect with cool people, this is the spot!
