“Awesome store. One of the last true family run tool and hardware stores. My dad went to school with Jim he's a great guy and honest. You always feel like family when you're there. They have a huge variety of tools you don't see everywhere else. They keep a variety of cheaper to great even USA brands depending on your price range. I wish he had a larger store I would rather go to Kitts over Amazon and harbor freight anyday. When I go here I feel like a kid in a candy store. Me and my family are customers for life. “HFT has stepped up their game vs many years ago. Good variety on some things, not so much on others. Sales are a gimmick. Wish the prices were just set instead of the circus involvement to get today's $0.50 off. Hate the email / phone number thing. Wish they would just sell me the wrench without asking for personal info. It's a tool store.”

RBrooke was no different - when I emailed they said sorry, their sales & shipping process makes cheaper impossible for internet sales. BUT then the guy on the other end said, "But I just could send you the parts for free." Arrived a few days later, at no cost to me. I can't say much for their process, but the people and customer service philosophy are excellent!”

“Received excellent customer service on Friday 4/5, was there around closing. I believe the man who helped us was the manager, totally professional, even made sure we got our purchase to the car, assisted us in finding items, and then was able to step in and provide help at the cash register since we were paying with a new credit card. Cashier was helpful as well. Just a really pleasant shopping experience.”

“This review is so so long overdue that I’m ashamed because I waited so long and because I don’t know the employees name I want to make notice of for her constant excellence in customer service and here recently, dealing with my mother who has some cognitive issues with her aging health.
I stopped in yesterday to purchase a Zevo bug zapper for my apartment that upon ridiculous boredom and watching two flys come to their demise, works like a charm.
What needs mention though is the woman who always seems to be at the key cutting counter. I have had the pleasure of dealing with her repeatedly since moving back to Michigan and have needed keys cut and various other hardware items. Not only is her knowledge of the store beyond awesome, her patience and customer service is exceptional. She is always polite, courteous, and quick with a joke for the right person. Her patience with my mother though was beyond exceptional and heart warming to know someone actually still cares in this world.
She is a five star employee that Ace should be proud of as an example.”
