member here for a year. It's got a weird, old vibe to it. Equipment is old for sure. Tennis courts are as slick as an ice rink. Feels like it's trapped in the late 70s or 80s. I did my year but I wouldn't recommend it. I wanted to play tennis... and did. The courts are fine but like I said, slick and fast. The workout area is really mid.

don't ever expect to be able to play basketball, the courts are always closed for no reason. they spent money a couple years ago to redo the court and they never let you use it. the pool is always closed for water aerobics, the tennis courts are always booked, the gym equipment is worse than planet fitness, the cafe is closed most of the time and they charge $100+ per month. the parking lot is full of tahoe moms who don't know how to park. this place is a rip off and I will be changing gyms after the year contract is up.

Love the Gym. Can get busy but if you know when peak hours are it's pretty easy to get to all the equipment you need. The smoothies at the Cafe are great. Staff is friendly. My one and only complaint is I wish they opened 5am on the weekends like they do during the week, but I'll still give 5 stars.

Some of the class instructors are decent, which is why I'm ok giving a 1 star. Facilities are dirty, very dirty. Club staff (excluding some instructors) are rude, pushy and have a I'm doing you a favor for just speaking to you attitude.Getting tennis court time is a challenge. So many better options out there these days for less cost.

I felt pressure to sign up to become a member at BHC, when I called on the phone to inquire about a membership, I told the staff person that I was a senior, that wasn't good enough, she ask me my age, and other personal information. I don't know the staff person's name but I'm sure the club has previous complaints on the female who does new membership, she was very pushy for me to sign up, and I didn't even know what they offer! The problem I'm having is where are the free classes; I don't see anything that's free except the water for the members! It's not worth going to this club, if you have to pay for everything, SMDH!

A+ Rated Group Classes & Fitness Club for Families. Keith, who handles the club’s maintenance, makes this club a superbly clean and safe option for young children and adults.

Very poor gym. Short service hours. Expensive fees, poor equipments, and many damages in the women’s locker room.

Quanita Neely is the best massage therapist around! She found all the deep knots in my back and worked them out. I left feeling like a new person. Will definitely be back!

I have been a member of powerhouse gym, Lifetime Fitness (Rochester Hills and Bloomfield), planet fitness and now this club. Now, planet fitness is of course no competition for these gyms so I will leave it out of the comparison (planet fitness heaviest weight is 50 lbs and there are no group classes). Powerhouse gym is small but very clean and nice. Their group classes are decent, albeit limited and they have no pool, daycare or tennis courts. If you don't care about these things, this is a great option. Lifetime Fitness is great in Rochester but it is even better in Bloomfield. This club has everything you could ask for, a pool, daycare, kids activities, group classes, the cafe, tennis courts, sauna, steam room and hot tub. I would definitely rejoin if I didnt mind that it is a 15 min drive for me. Beverly Hills Club is a great option (also closer). It offers great group classes, a pool, steam room, tennis courts and child care. There is also a cafe but it always seems to be closed and there is no sauna (only steam room). If I compare Lifetime (bloomfield) to BHC, they are very similar and BHC is slightly cheaper (not by much). To recap: - Lifetime fitness (bloomfield): has kid's classes, a cafe, a sauna, better locker rooms (at BHC club you have to bring your own lock), and heated yoga (if you care about that). - BHC: lacks the things mentioned above but the ambient feels more familiar, also a clear advantage is the slightly cheaper price and you can take your kids to the child care 2X day 1.5 hours (3 hour per day). Lifetime fitness has a maximum of 2.5 hours. - Lifetime fitness grants their members 2 guest passes per month and the guest can take advantage of the kid's classes. - BHC grants no passes, they have to be bought by $25 and the guests cannot use the child care. As you can see BHC is still a great option, but in order to be competitive for the price, they should at least add some guest passes and reopen their cafe so that they are an attractive option for more people.

Great Gym! BHC is rarely packed, clean and has new equipment. They offer everything you need to take a shower after your workout, swim, tennis match, etc. All u need is a change of clothes. The only thing that stops it from getting 5 stars is that it closes at 9pm on the weekdays.

Great facility, especially for families! Great variety of classes for members of any age, child care for when you’re working out, and the pool for when they’ve just got a bit more energy to get out.
