“Our 2009 Nissan Murano broke down in South Haven, MI while we were driving from Chicago to Sleeping Bear Dunes. The AAA towing service informed us that they would take our car to M & W Auto Service and Tire in Benton Harbor. We had excellent communication with Mike and Mark who kept us informed about their plans to diagnose the issue and the results of their findings. It is never an enjoyable experience to have a major car repair while traveling but the staff at M & W Auto Service & Tire were upbeat, friendly, and accommodating. “This place has worked on my vehicles twice. Once for my Kia's remote start. And my Jeeps lights. I plan to return for more work on my Jeep. Both visits they were able to get me scheduled in a reasonable amount of time and are willing to work around my schedule with ease. They did magnificent work I have not had to go back to fix or repair any of the work they've done. All prices are average and what you should expect. Fair pay=excellent work.

“I went to Advance Auto Parts in Benton Harbor needing a battery. I was greeted by Jake with professionalism, having a great attitude/customer service.
Jake went above and beyond with the customer service he provided. He ordered a battery for me because it was a no-stock at his location. Unfortunately, the battery that was shipped from South Bend was a used battery with low voltage readings that Jake had discovered. Jake told me he could have another battery within a few hours and will make sure the quality control was in place to ensure my battery was serviceable and ready to go. WOW!!!! WHAT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL. This store location is on the other side of town for me but I will go the extra distance knowing that Jake will be there to give OUSTANDING service.

“When I walked through the door the guy said "How can I help you?" I told him I had a broken tail light. Before I could even tell him I was looking for red tape to cover it up, they said "We can't sell you any of that red tape" because apparently it's illegal in Michigan to sell it because it doesn't get you out of the ticket. ARE THEY MIND-READERS?”

He answered all of our questions specifically and accurately. In fact he gave us more information about the specific vehicle we eventually purchased as well. He made it easy and quick. We came to potential terms that day and left a small deposit to hold. Two days later we drove there for a test drive. It was better than expected, in fact it was near mint condition. “December 18th 2024. I was visiting the area from Iowa. And my battery would no longer start my car. My husband ordered the battery. New wiper blades and washer fluid online from Iowa. I got a jump, went into the store and told them why I was there. It was very quick, very easy. And the most important part is the wonderful staff that helped me Install the battery and the wiper blades and the washer fluid. And they never lost patience with me despite the fact that I could not find the hood release. It's good to know that There is still good customer service in the auto industry. Thanks to the staff that was so helpful.”
