What a nightmare. It drug on and on. Filled with excuses. Delays happen, unexpected things happen, yes. BUT a professional business would take a few minutes to COMMUNICATE with the consumer. I barely know where to start. Wm. Ellis Company was referred to us as a recommended company by ServePro Farmington. Beware the subs that get sent to your place. You never know who you’re going to get. Some are great, some where just whoever Dennis could get last minute.Terrible: Communication, Professionalism, Project management, Timelines.I don’t know who runs this place or who would have been acting as the project manager Dennis or Maggie. It was a hugely stressful situation that I was just glad to be done.There was so much that happened. I am happy to share my experience with anyone who is looking for a reference. I wish I had found William Ellis Co sooner! I was halfway through a project with a different firm when they heavily overcharged me.I called William Ellis Co and they stepped in and made everything SO EASY for me. The attention to detail and communication was amazing. They finished on budget, worked with my insurance and fought to get me the coverage that I deserved.If you are looking at a project or insurance claim - you shouldn't even hesitate, call them today!!!! I would give 6 stars if I could.

I'd give a zero stars if I could. We've had such a terribly long and dragged out experience with this 'company' over the past year. Yes... a whole year for a small bathroom remodel after it was flooded.
- Asked us to pay $23,000 for the below images + drywall to a single bathroom in basement.
- Contractor went through our personal mail (he is no longer allowed on our property)
- We're told our shower door cost $1,900 - spoke with the shower door company directly and the price was 900. They claimed this was an estimate, yet it was on the final bill.
Stay away from this place.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! By far the worst experience we have ever had! Be aware of how much they overcharge on everything! They are not professional at all, their contractor was going through our mail, he does not know how to communicate and we had to fire him mid way.

This has been the best experience I have ever had when it comes to remodeling. In the past I have had two other homes remodeled. I hired William Ellis Co to finish my basement and they have done everything they said, completing each step on time, using the best products, accurate bid, keeping my home tidy and clean.

Exceptional!. That's William Ellis & Co. We came home from work to a burst pipe in the basement, they came recommended by our insurance. We asked them out to survey the damage. From the first meeting through the renovations this company has provided top notch service. Friendly employees made this seem like a trivial thing. They have handled my concerns with utmost respect and have went out of their way to insure the dust/allergens where at a minimum. Having a child that is sick this was great comfort. They ran a negative air machine while working, everyday was met with smiles and friendly faces. I was always asked for approval before the next step was started. I can not thank this company and especially Mark enough. Great job, Great Company.

I am 66. Over the course of my life experience I can state without reservation that Wm. Ellis & Co. is the finest company that I have ever worked with. In every aspect of a long, complex, demanding project requiring all the construction trades, Ellis & co. exceeded our expectations. The project was a major remodel of our home and garage for ADA accessibility and extended into major repairs and landscape cleanup. Not only did Ellis complete all of our requested improvements and addition, to a person, every Ellis employee was honest, friendly, considerate of our needs, and "looked out for us". I can not say enough good things about the Wm. Ellis Company.
