“I needed a lot of work done between my car and the road. Bearings, brakes, control arms, struts. The subaru dealership gave me a very expensive quote, Ron at pep boys gave me a preliminary quote for much less. He was very honest about which work was urgent, and what could wait another year or two.
They got everything done super fast for me, and fixed my AC on top of all that. It was a great experience start to finish. Charles helped out a couple times while Ron was out, and he was great too.
My car finally feels trustworthy and comfortable again thanks to everyone over at Pep Boys. I wish I could give the other mechanics at the shop a shout out for their great work, but I only spoke with Ron and Charles.”

“My car was making a weird noise and I went into the shop an hour before the shop closes without appointment. The guys were very nice and down to earth, willing to help even though I showed up last minute without any appointments. Thankfully, the issue was so minor that I was in and out in 10 minutes. They were very fair and they didn't even charge me for it. I appreciated that they were still willing to take a look at it and I was worry-free for rest of the weekend. “I was shopping for 38x13.5x20 mud terrain tires for my 5th gen ram Rebel for about 2 weeks.
Looking online and multiple shop in my area for convenience because my time is important to me.
My main concern was the large diameter of the tire not fitting properly.
I stopped in on Thursday morning and talked to the young lad named Rio and expressed my concerns on the fitment issues I had.
I already knew what tires I wanted. I had 3 different ones in mind and already knew the ballpark range in prices from shopping around.
(He at the time did not know this)
When he told me my price on the different choices I had for the out the door price I said take my money.
He ordered my tires and had them the next morning.
Went in on Saturday morning at 9 am and was heading home 1.5 hrs later with the baddest looking Rebel around.
There was a little fitment issue due to the custom mud flaps I have.
There tire tech did his thing and got it resolved very quickly.
He also took extra care not to scratch the wheels and such.
It was a great experience as I take great pride on my truck.
I would defiantly recommend this US Wheel and Tire location on mound road just south of 18 mile.

“We've got a 2016 Prius. The problem: we have a knocking / clunking noise when driving over bumps, seemingly coming from the driver's side suspension. I'm a pretty handy guy who knows his way around cars, and was pretty sure it was either a tie rod or sway bar link / bushing.
So anyway, after a different shop had quoted us a $2500 total front-end replacement of things that weren't broken (like struts) and told us we needed new tires (despite tread on current tires being 5-7/32"), we bounced them and came to Chuck.
Chuck diagnosed the car and called us to say "it's in the steering column, nothing we can do ourselves, take it to Toyota". And I, being stubborn, did not believe Chuck. He basically was gonna send us away with only a $20 tire rotation we had asked for (which is a great price btw). The dude actively refused work.
Me, being confident I was correct, asked Chuck to replace the sway bar bushing and links. He did it, great price (< 350). And of course it didn't fix my problem (but it sure did tighten up the sloppy steering).
Once we got the car back I did some more research on the problem. Lo and behold this is a known issue for gen 3 prius, a $5 bushing in the power steering motor that gets destroyed over time. It's cheap to fix in terms of parts, but you have to disassemble the dash and drop the steering column to access it.
I did some more diagnosis and confirmed this is in fact the issue.
So in short, Chuck was totally right, incredibly honest, and tried to talk me out of paying him money to do work that wasn't needed. 5 stars, I will absolutely be back and appreciate an honest and competent mechanic and shop.”

“If wetmore's offers the service your car needs, you should get it done at wetmore's. I have had so many bad experiences with tire and auto shops- from men taking my number from my file to ask me out to lying to my face about things that are easily disproved. Tire Shoppe on 9 mile you can just admit when you made a mistake instead of gaslighting the hell out of your customers. Needless to say I don't like having to get services done on my car.
But after several jobs done at wetmore's, I trust them. They are professional and friendly, upfront about pricing, and accurate about the time it'll take to get something done. My one complaint is that their side lot is small so they compensate by parking over the sidewalk and making it impossible to walk on that side of the street, but that's not the end of the world, and I'm sure it's ignorance not malice.
Glad to have them as my neighborhood shop.”
