I’ve had two great experiences at D&D bikes in Berkley. Last time it was quick and efficient service of a tire and this time I decided to purchase a new bike with them. Jeff was great when I went to pick up my bike and patiently answered all of my questions even while balancing incoming calls and multiple store patrons. I was impressed with his depth of knowledge and the advice he could offer to make my rides as comfortable and enjoyable as possible in addition to what he knew about current riding groups in the area. He genuinely cared about my riding experience and I was impressed when he greeted me by name when I came back to pick up shoes and have pedals installed. This was the first time I used riding shoes with clips and he came outside with me to ensure I knew how to clip in and out safely so I could avoid mistakes and possible falls as I grew accustomed to them. I am grateful that I met Jeff and I will continue to use D&D Berkley for my future needs. I highly recommend them to my friends, family, and anyone looking for honest bike advice and service.

Just got off the phone with Jeff- complete jerk. I called to see if they had an inner tube in stock, gave him the size but didn't understand what he was asking me about the type of valve the tire has. After I asked him to clarify he got really snotty to me because i didn't understand what a "shrader valve," is. I was willing to give them another chance after the last bad experience I had there. I do not recommend this place unless you want to be treated like you're stupid and they take forever on repairs.

I live abroad, while I was visiting US, I decided to buy a bike. I've researched the right bike for me over weeks. These guys helped me a lot by e-mail and phone with precise information, details, options and so on. Then, I decided to go to Store, and there they were so helpful with everything for me: information, packing the bike, empathy and fast response to my tight timeline to get back to my home, in Brazil. Here, I've realized how special and great is the Bike the sold to me. I'm very very happy with the bike and the People who make this Store so special. Thank you so much and a very very special thanks to Jeff, the person who welcomed so well, was so gentle, so helpful, a great, superbly, outstanding Guy.

D & D bicycles is a great bike store. There was a slight mixup in the order and they went above and beyond to make it right and make sure that I was happy. I’ve found my new Giant/Liv bike store, since KLM is not anymore. Thank you D & D!
