Just ok. Found some small Knick knacks. Clothing was priced too high. They separate what they feel is higher end pieces and put them in a special section of the store. Tops priced at $20 and higher. You could find some of these type pieces at a Marshalls for less.

Moved about 5 months ago and did a quick search of best resale shops in the area. Council Resale has the best reviews. I met Shirley, I think that was her name. She was super nice and tested a toaster for me. Unfortunately it didn't work. She suggested I sign up for their email list so that I can be up to date on their sales. The prices were great, the customer service was great.
Unfortunately they signed me up for additional email lists that I did not authorize. I have received emails from the National Council of Jewish Women Michigan (which stated that Council Resale and Kosher Meals on Wheels as well as the NCJWMI websites as being down. Because their sites are down I'm unable to unsubscribe). I do not appreciate being signed up for these extra mailing lists. Although I enjoyed the experience, I will not be shopping here due to their shady practice of signing me up for emails that I did not authorize.

The store is always filled to the brim with a plethora of selections of clothing, shoes and housewares. Always my go-to spot for even last minute thrifting. The staff is helpful and friendly.

By far my favorite shop in the area. Council Resale has the best selection in a variety of sizes and they are constantly getting new pieces every week. I’ve made it a tradition to stop in regularly and always seem to find something incredible! They also regularly run promotions on different departments of the store so you can always find an amazing deal. At this point, half of my closet is from Council Resale. I also so appreciate how kind everyone who works there is. They’re always available if you need anything and fun to talk to. 10/10 recommend!

I love this store. I always find great quality, designer clothes and hand bags at a fraction of the retail cost. Folks ask me how I can afford the desinger bags and clothes I find. I tell them about this store and they go to check it out too. My friend has been shopping here for several years now and took me here when I needed a dress for a wedding. I found a Chicos dress with the tags still on it for $25. I was so happy. I have been coming here ever since.
