Updated review: I've knocked a star off because you cannot pay at the pump. This BP may be one of the smallest I've seen this side of a small town. You have to be careful making the turn from Catalpa or Coolidge, since the pumps are positioned to maximize space, but sneaking around huge SUVs gets awfully tight.Unfortunately, this gas station requires you to pay in the store. Forget tapping your card or swiping to expedite the process when you're already in a rush to get to work, school or wherever on time. A lack of pay-at-the-pump options simply adds an extra layer of inconvenience. I just want to get my gas and hurry on my way and here, you can't do that. This lack stops me from coming here anymore even if it's my closest station. Owner, if you read this, please reconsider your stance. This station is about as no-frills as you can get. It has a convenience store and an ATM. I'm not even sure if they have a tire refill station. The pumps are in good condition. BP's rarely the cheapest gas in town but the station stays tidy. Strangely, it lacks the big overhead roof that keeps you out of the rain or the area brightly lit. I guess you can appreciate Berkley High or the greenery around the area.I can't speak to the attached mechanic, I've never used them. However, they do have one for repairs like brakes or oil changes.
