Got my bunny neutered here last week cost a little over 300 bucks but the staff were absolutely wonderful. They are very thorough about every aspect of animal care and communication is excellent. Plus the head vet really seems to know her bunnies. True animal lovers plus not any crooked upsell on unnecessary treatments.

I take all my dogs to BAC. Dr. Golombek is amazing and always spends time with me and my dogs. She is compassionate and addresses any concerns I may have. I really feel like she treats my dogs like she treats her own. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is being their surgery prices are astronomical. I go to a different vet for any surgery type procedures. $650 for my dog to get neutered. I was quoted $800 for my 10 pound dog to get his teeth cleaned, no extractions. But the one that took the cake was getting quite $1k for my female to be spayed.

First off they lied to me about when my dogs were due for shots so that id end up wasting money on an unnecessary appointment. Since that wasn't enough disrespect, the same day, they took my 2 PERFECTLY healthy dogs for their annual check up (they take the animals In a room where you CAN'T see them at all) and as soon as I brought both dogs home from this hell they were completely ill. My frenchie was COVERED in bumps and my pug (who was in PERFECT condition before seeing them) won't eat. Won't drink. Won't walk. If you love your animals do NOT take them here.

Every positive review here (except one) of BAC is quite a few years old. They used to be my vet when I lived in Berkley and I would have agreed with those high marks then. No more - if I could give zero stars I would with the ordeal my cat and I went through beginning 5/19/2022. The details of how bad the experience was (from an inexperienced vet treating my cat, spending hundreds of dollars for what was inadequate treatment of an injury, unresponsive staff at the front desk, another 800 dollar quote that I said no to to following the over $700 I had already paid because it was their lack of response that created the need for follow up treatment) and still having to take him to another vet for treatment -- this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at veterinarians' office. I have emails I sent, estimates they provided, receipts of what I did spend, conversations with the office manager.... Save your pet and yourself wasted time, overcharges, lack of response, and every other thing we experienced with Berkley Animal Clinic. Find another vet clinic. You'll be happy you did.

I wanted to go here because I love Dr. G, however, I have had so much problem with the people answering the phones. I called to cancel an appt and replace it with another more urgent situation. I was put on hold for a long time, I was patient. When she came back she told me that I should not cancel. My first animal was OK now so it was fine that I canceled. I needed an urgent visit for another and did not want to wait a month. I told her that and she put me on hold again for a long time. Then she came back and told me to find an ER for animals, I told her I did not want to do that. Why was she arguing with me? She again put me on hold for the 3rd time for a long long time. I hung up. I called back the next day and had to leave a message...I said to cancel the appt for my first animal. I thought all was fine..then a couple days later I get a call reminding me of the appointment. ???? I love Dr. G but not worth the complicated stress of the girls on the phone.

We have been going to Berkley Animal Clinic for years with our 2 dogs and will continue to do so. Everyone there is very kind and knowledgeable. After having her for almost 14 years, had to say goodbye to our sweet dog Zora. Her health took a dive a few weeks ago, just as the COVID-19 crisis was also cranking up. All of the staff there was great and Dr Pick was fabulous. Dr. Pick went above and beyond to give care to Zora and she was so compassionate with us as we struggled with the grim prognosis. She and I would text each other daily on Zora's condition. In the heartbreaking end, Dr Pick came to the house. As soon as Zora saw her walk in the door, even as sick as she was, Zora got up and went straight to Dr Pick to give her a kiss. That is a testament to how much she loved and trusted Dr Pick.

Bad bad bad coronavirus response. I'd avoid for now. The staff and Dr.'s are great, but this one star is for the owners. Clearly they do not care about the health and well-being of their staff and clients. During this coronavirus outbreak there absolutely should not be people waiting in the lobby or put into small appointment rooms with the doors closed. There's no signage on the front door about any special precautions or if we can wait in our cars, there really aren't any signs of anything being done at all. At the very least put out more hand sanitizer! Clearly the staff are a little scared but they can't put signs up unless the owners tell them its okay? They're doing their best, but they're hourly wage people who cant afford not to work. I should not have to come in for routine things that could be done over the phone during this. Time to step up and start caring more about people than the almighty dollar.

My dogs always get the best care here. One of my dogs has a serious fear of pretty much everything and the staff and doctors are so courteous of his needs. Plus they have great hours and always seem to be able to fit us in if there is something going on with one of my boys. I'm so thankful I was recommended by a friend years ago. Couldn't be happier!

We've tried a few local vets and so happy we finally found this place. We are so impressed with how sincerely warm and compassionate the staff is with every animal. It's truly a special place! Our dog normally hates going to the vet but I think she even likes it here, so enough said:)

My wife and I recently switched from another veterinary clinic and brought our dog to Berkley Animal Clinic. The entire staff exceeded our expectations and we were so glad we made the change! Dr. Friedman and the vet techs were especially gentle with our dog, who is very nervous around new people, and provided knowledgeable suggestions for our dog's diet and heart worm medicine. As an added bonus, we were seen exactly at our appointment time and out in 30 minutes. Thanks again for going above and beyond today.

I normally don't leave reviews. But this place was amazing today! Were going out of town Friday, and needed my little man checked out. Not only did they fit me in, but I literally didn't have to wait to be seen. The staff was AMAZING! Made me feel VERY comfortable. This is important, they are taking care of our babies, AND I got to meet the in house cat. The coolest cat in town, def put a smile on my face. So happy my early misfortune with another vet lead me to coming to this one.

Really like the staff here and the location is very convenient. I think they do a good job and are more affordable than other places in the area. As with any vet, you need to be your own advocate. They'll sell you the name brand meds first but you can ask for options.

Amazing/wonderful people that provided genuine attention and care for my cat when she was exhibiting symptoms of vomiting/dehydration. Made the mistake of going to an emergency vet (awful experience and was scammed out of my money). The clinic was very understanding of my financial situation and drew up a plan to treat a variety of things that could be causing my cat to be sick, while keeping things within a comfortable budget. My cat is healthy and happy, and I would be more than happy to bring her back here again!

switched from my old vet to Berkley Animal Clinic recently and could not be happier. There is always recent visits available with very flexible night time hours. We are extremely happy about the night time hours, as we used to have to take the day off to get the dogs in for a checkup we have met two of the vets so far, and they have not only been very nice, but also very informative and willing to answer multiple questions. they are also amazingly fast at injections and blood work, and allow me to be with my dogs during the procedures. love, juston

So far I really like this place a lot. The wait time is very short which i really appreciate after having a horrible experience at Long Lake Animal Hospital. Everyone here is a true animal lover and has been very gentle with my cats. They didnt charge me for the ear drops that LLAH forgot to give me but were already paid for, which i really appreciated! They are professional and the office is very clean and welcoming. I switched to this vet because their office hours go much later into the evening and i no longer have to leave work early for appointments. Last week I called and left a message in the evening and was given a call back early in the morning and got in later that day (on a saturday no less!). Really liking this place so far!
