I brought my kitten here for his first visit and everything went smoothly. The staff were friendly and excited to see my little ragdoll :) Loved the complementary nail cut as well and they made it easy to schedule follow up visits.

There's a reason this place is so easily accessible when all other vets book weeks+ out .
First they charge a deposit just to be seen.
When calling to make the appointment we were VERY CLEAR and transparent about our dog being a French bulldog that has a muzzle. He has a broken nail that WILL REQUIRE SEDATED SURGERY FOR REMOVAL. We have a time constraint because of a trip. We get there and they turn him away stating
1. He's a frenchi ergo possible breathing issues and he will need sedated surgery for removal.....like I said.
2. He is aggressive YET THEY TOLD US NOT TO PUT OUR MUZZLE ON HIM THAT THEY HAD BETTER ONES WHICH THEY NEVER PUT ON HIM.
All you have to do is give a treat and he warms right up. But I disclaimed this too.
3. He will need recovery time to ensure safe recovery from sedation. So why tell me you can do the surgery at 630? We took time off work losing money.
4. They said "it isn't urgent so WE CAN GET HIM IN TUESDAY but if you want it done today you can call urgent care or hospitals. So I called this morning first thing to ensure Tuesdays surgery with them. They and I quote "assumed you were taking him to urgent care so we didn't make the appointment and we are fully booked out Tuesday and this whole week." Amazing how they booked solid while they were closed. We lose out because they made an assumption. So now we have to take him to a hospital and pay 3× the amount we would have otherwise. They kept putting it on us that we didn't take him to urgent care. We were told it was NOT urgent and could "WAIT FOR TUESDAYS APPT." Why would we take him to urgent care when the "professionals" told us we didn't need to. Now my husband is going to miss the birth of our first grandchild becasue things have been delayed and we need to recoup the extra expense we are having to pay through a hospital. They did give us our deposit back so I want to be fair. And she made sure to act like that was a huge back patting move. Of course we should get it back. You brought us in under false pretenses and did literally nothing. I'd have gotten it back through my bank with zero issue had they not.

We received the first dose of a vaccine series and when we called to schedule the second they said it was too early. We followed their recommendation and when we returned the window had passed and we had to restart the vaccine series. To make matters worse, they charge a fee to have a tech perform an exam before every vaccine administration. Over $150 dollars for two booster vaccines.

They charge a 3% credit card processing fee. It’s not bad enough the vet will charge an arm and a leg just for a routine visit but they still feel the need to also force the customer to pay their credit card processing fees. Greed has no boundaries i guess. This place is also very busy all the time, new employees every visit, your pet wont get the attention and care they deserve due to always having a diff vet and tech for your visits. I recommend you go to a place where the vet will be consistent so you and your pet can develop a professional and comfortable relationship over the years.

I moved to the area 4 years ago. I've been a client with Berkely this entire time. Have I seen a couple different vet docs in the past 4 years? Yes. But that doesn't bother me. 95% of them were very kind and very caring.
My sweet 21 yr old cat soulmate passed 4 months ago, she was given the good rest at Berkley and they were very gentle and guiding. Today was my first time back there for a sweet stray kitty and I got the vet that I genuinely think is so happy to do what he does. Dr. J. Williams.
I thank everyone of you there for being awesome with Precious for the last 4 years of her life.❤️ and being a place I can trust for my other fur babies.

Recently our Sonja had given us a scare. She couldn't walk had a hard time standing. Berkley got us in right away. While they weren't sure what was going on, the vet was very honest. Sonja was given several meds which she had done well with. She walks, runs almost her old self again. So glad we have trust with the vet and staff. Very helpful, always making follow up calls checking on our girl. Definitely recommend Berkley Animal Hospital

Took my dog today for her annual and vaccinations. Have been going there for years. First time seeing Dr Turnage. Dr Turnage was very thorough and gave my dog an extensive physical exam. Everyone was so kind and gentle with my elderly and at times salty dog. The vet tech did a fabulous job trimming her nails. They are the best!

Finding exotic pet care is difficult and I am thrilled to have found a local exotic vet experienced with rabbits. During my rabbit’s first wellness visit Dr. Golombek and her team spent considerable time answering questions about my new holland lop, prioritized helping him calm down and relax before examining him, demonstrated how to administer eye drops to a squirmy baby bunny and clipped his nails. It’s a relief to have found a local experienced rabbit vet and not have to drive an hour to the vet for rabbit care.

My name is Gloria. I took my pet Cody in for a visit at Berkley Animal Hospital last week. He had a tooth infection and he had overgrown fur. He would not let me or anyone else trim but the Veterinarian Dr. Myra or Myrna!
All of the support staff were absolutely wonderful. No one judged me for Cody‘s appearance!
when I went to pick him up he looked like a brand new poodle only 10 pounds but they treated him with love and respect and they also treated me kindly, I will always go to them forever and ever

Do not go here. They gave me a quote over the phone. When I arrived and was in an exam room the quote went up 25% for the same services. I asked them to honor the quote. They told me I could leave and the $70 deposit is non refundable.
Nice way to treat a new customer. I’ve been hearing this place isn’t where you should go. I guess I should have listened. I live two blocks away would have been great to keep the money in my city.

Quality of service at this clinic has gone downhill. Unprofessional staff they never answer their phone. They're incapable of taking responsibilities for their mistakes. Do yourself a favor Find another Animal Clinic.

6/14/24 Review: Took my cat today for dental cleaning and some extractions. Dr. Williams and those assisting were wonderful along with Theresa who walked me through the admitting as well as discharge procedure. Dr. Williams provided surgery updates. They took such good care of Baxter from start to finish. I know he's in good hands with Berkley and why I choose to continue going there. Thank you for making me feel at ease today.
I have taken my beloved pets to Berkley Animal Hospital for decades now; everything from wellness visits to diagnostics, surgeries, dental cleanings and, sadly, putting my beloved pets down. They are so helpful, friendly, and very good at what they do. This includes the entire team from the front desk to the techs and down to the vets. There are many animal hospitals to choose from in the area but with decades of dealing with Berkley, there's no reason to take my beloved pet(s) anywhere else.

First of all, they are just great people! They care they’re friendly they’re kind they’re compassionate. Both to the animal and to the animal mama and daddy. My dog was pretty sick and it’s not out of the woods yet but if there’s anyone that can help her get back to normal. It’s the folks at Berkeley animal Hospital.
