Good people, good vibes. Good place. But they will probably skrew you out of your reserved campsite, so I wouldn’t recommend paying the extra $10 to reserve one, many people have this issue, even people who have been coming for 7+ years. Had a wonderful mini vacation. The staff were wonderful. Had a riverside sight. Wasn’t a great spot to play in the river, but very peaceful. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Winding River Campground is a full service campground with river sites, wooded sites, lowland sites and highland sites to suite differing camping experiences. We also offer RV rentals, cabin rentals, and rent out our rustic and cozy A-frame Chalet. Our camping store is loaded with camper supplies and local food brands and we carry the best fishing and tackle supplies for the early season and later season salmon and stealhead runs! We have been named the best 1,900ft of river frontage for fishing enthusiasts. Come camp with us on the Betsie River!
