Wanted to make a very simple transaction, I wanted to pay 30 cash and 10 card for my lift ticket. Cashiers seemed very confused. Gave them the 30 and they said the rest would be charged to my card. 10 minutes later I check my Chase app and see that I was charged the full price (40 instead of just 10) on my card. Went back to the same cashier (10 minutes later) and asked if I could get my 30 dollars back that I paid in cash, she said "no, you have no proof". Even though this was the SAME person that just check me out and I showed her my rep it on Chase. So basically I ended up paying 70$ for an afternoon pass. Wtf

A review for the Cedar Lodge @ Cannonsburg: There are a couple dining options at Cannonsburg including the outdoor shipping container 'bar' with quick items as well as the indoor/first floor counter service that offers tenders/fries/cocoa/etc. All is what you'd expect... fried, fast and what the kids like. Upstairs you'll find the Cedar Lodge where it's full service sit down and a full bar. It's pretty cozy up there with a fire place and a nice view of the ski hill - something we took advantage of while our kids took ski lessons. We could have a drink, a bite for dinner and watch them go up and down the hill with their instructor. The service was solid. They had a staff of 4 working on Monday night with a half full dining area. They were fast, kind and very attentive. The menu is pretty great including soups, salads, sandwiches, a few entrees, full list of apps and a good kids menu. They beverage list is great too including local draft beer. We were surprised at how many tables were have casual adult bevs and dinner on a Monday night - us included. The food was great. I had the nachos (it's a ton! and definitely sharable). Husband had the chili (it was sweet and spicy) as well as the fries. All was tasty and huge portions. Overall, our experience was great. It was exactly what we needed for an hour while the kids skied: a great view of them on the hill, wine/beer and some tasty eats. We do recommend!

It's been a good while since we've been here, since you gotta make a reservation online for tubing. So plan ahead if you would like to go because the time slots get filled fast! Came here on a Saturday morning- The check in for tubing is all the way on the left side, outside of the building in a little window. Everyone in your group needs to do a waiver. It was a pretty smooth experience and because we were the first to arrive it was so nice to go up and down without the line. There are four lanes and each one was slightly different in a very fun way. Highly recommend going tubing! :)

The ski shop was ok. Bought items at the used skis sale and despite trying to get help multiple times ended up with skis that weren't right for the age/weight of the kids. Made 3 additional trips to get things right.

I've been to Cannonsburg a few times in 2018, and in 2022. In 2018, I went tubing, not sure how much the price was, because I went with the school event. In 2022, I went to Cannonsburg to snowboard. The price for a student was 33 dollars, including the rent for the shoes and the board/ski. Helmet rental was another 13 dollars. Each step was clearly told by the cashiers and we were guided through the paying process, the shoes, and the board. It was super cold both times I went in January and there were two big fire pits with chairs around, where we could thaw our hands and feet. This is a very nice place to go! Lots of courses to ride your skis/boards

A group of us did the Snowshoes & Brews and it was wonderful! A workout, for sure! Beautiful scenery and there was our guide, Kim, and a guy who assisted. He let me use his poles, which really helped. He was always telling us how great we were doing and cheering us on. We even were given a free pass to tube!! That was a fun surprise. Thanks for such a fun, friendly and fabulous hike!

Super expensive for rentals! Also, maybe add a helmet when you rent a ski or snowboard. 15 bucks to RENT a helmet is ridiculous. Looks like I'll risk cracking my head open :/

Paid full price and only 2 lifts are open. Lines are long and the place was crowded. Night skiing was better but there was only one intermediate hill accessible to us today. A bit disappointing for all the money we paid.

First time going to Cannonsburg and far from impressed. First off I have driven on two tracks that are in better shape than that parking lot. My wife went to use the bathroom and came out horrified at how gross it was. Her quote was"I didn't want to touch anything" . The porta Jon's weren't any better, full and gross! We had come to Cannonsburg for the tubing. The tubing it's self was a blast, but only two of the lanes were open. The lines got long and they didn't have the staff to fully run it safely. But yet still charged the full amount for the use. The staff did the best they could with what they had to work with. In my opinion it looks like they invest enough to keep it open but not enough to make good improvements. A little investment would go a long way! Also you might want to put up the safety nets before someone slides off the side the tubing hill not after it happens!

Incredibly disappointed when I went to go purchase a gift certificate for this upcoming snow season. Masks are mandated inside and OUTSIDE, while there being NO mandate in our state. By now everyone has either had it and or vaccinated. There is no following the science at Cannonsburg! It states in the wording that the magic carpet will be stopped and the person singled out until the masks are put back on. Imagine how embarrassing and humiliating that would be for a child! We used to love Cannonsburg and my son learned to ski there, but will not return to a business that does not think about ALL of their costumers!

Awesome management and Anthony did a great job fitting my first pair of ski boots. Jon is very knowledgeable as well- highly recommend this shop for all of your snow sport needs. Having the slopes right outdoor to break in the new equipment is just icing on the cake. Will definitely be back for future upgrades!

The Haunted Forest and Lighted Forest (no ghouls - just lights and displays) are amazing. Both are well lit and decorated with eye catching and fiendishly fun displays. Nominating all the ghouls in the Haunted Forest for Academy awards- especially the 2 hags in front of Forest. And the ghoul in the tree. The lighted forest is perfect for younger children - loved the lit witches hat walk and the hanging slinkies. Soooo many decorated trees and displays. And the caramel apples and apple fritters sold by the ticket office are worth a second trip next weekend. This 60 something gram hasn't had that much Halloween fun since trick or treating. When my children were young - we'd go to Greenfield Village at Halloween. This is just as good.
