I recently purchased landscaping material from Randy Brown Landscape and I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality and service. The materials were exactly as described and of excellent quality. This is not the gardener’s choice for topsoil. You get what you pay for. I needed several yards of topsoil and Gardener’s Choice was the cheapest option. Despite confirming that it was screened before ordering, I have found several pieces of plastic and glass, and the topsoil is full of pieces of wood/twigs that are anywhere from 2 to 6+ inches long. Also found a rusted metal wire. Water bottle in picture for scale
Edit (5/5/24): I’m not sure what the owner is suggesting by saying that the trash is not from their topsoil. We ordered 7 cubic yards and have been finding trash throughout the whole pile. We had to make a sifter to filter out all the junk. Since my initial review, we have continued to find glass, rope, rusty nails, and other pieces of metal. Wear cut resistant gloves if you purchase this topsoil. If you’re looking for fill dirt, perhaps this is the purchase for you.

My flower are dead now in less than a month and they don't have any warranty on them, unless they plant them by themselves ( something they didn't even propose to me ? ) . For the first time trying to make my yard beautiful, and spending almost $82 , this is so disappointing. Two weeks later , I bought the same flowers at another shop on Newburgh Rd, and they are blooming beautifully , also they offer you a 1 year warranty in case they die.I will never go back to the " Garden's choice " again !

My husband and I have worked with Mary and she has been fantastic to deal with. I must have called 5xs asking questions about mulch and how much to get and Mary was a great help. I love the mulch and lilac bushes I ordered from there. Fair prices, great product and services!

Their prices were ok not that cheap or expensive however I ordered 20 yards of limestone and I received it in two different loads. I felt like it wasn’t 20 and I told them after the first kid and they told me that they put 20. I then call a different landscape company and ordered another 10 and the 10 that they brought were just about the same amount as the 20 I ordered from them. They ripped me off but I let it. Just make sure they get your order right and stay awake when dealing with them.

I use to use them until they stuck a handwritten sign in my yard without my permission. Take out an ad dont be cheap.Next time I see you I will report you.

First time tried calling they said they would come look at our dying pine tree. Never came or called. Called and asked a 2nd time and reminded them asked a week and half ago. He said he would come look at it that day. Never came or called. Taking my business elsewhere
