I am so sorry that it took me a year to discover The Butcher Shop. First, the friendliest people I have encountered in a long time. Second, the quality of their products is unmatched. I “found” them 2 weeks ago and have been in the shop 4 times since. Excellent and very highly recommend.

Stopped in to check out the store and was greeted with a warm and hardy hello. Being a newbie a sweet lady talked to me about the store and their products. Purchased a few items, very pleased with what I bought and price was reasonable. Will definitely be going back!

I was super excited when I saw that we were getting a local butcher shop! It's super appealing and well organized. The owners are great and super friendly. They have excellent meat selections. They also carry pre-prepped foods and a variety of market necessities as well. I personally can't get enough of the Dearborn perogies!The only suggestion I would have is the following:Have daily specials so that the locals with all different income levels know what to expect and you will keep the traffic coming in consistently. Have chicken breasts, pork chops, steaks, hamburgers, roasts, specialty meats, etc. all on sale different days of the week so people will come in more regularly and keep business booming! Advertise in the windows the weekly specials so people can see it driving by!The only other suggestion I would make is remember that people have Meijer and Walmart right up the road. Your special pastas and sides are great, especially the mac n cheese but just be careful not to overprice. Most people will go for cheaper rather than quality. ;-) Overall, I'm very satisfied!

Popped in here after dinner across the parking lot with a relative. Although I didn't buy anything I was impressed by the selection and more impressed with the prices. Also the place is just amazingly clean. Spoke with the manager and she was quite nice and very proud of this place. If I lived anywhere near here this would be a regular stop

AMAZING SHOP! Best meat I’ve purchased in a long time. The quality is top shelf. Fresh cut meat is something you don’t get these days. I drove over an hour to visit this store. I was NOT disappointed, best store I’ve been in. The service it wonderful. I’m already planning on going back.Spectacular meat, you will not be disappointed!!! ?♥️

I want to give this new place a 5 Star review, but based on my experience, can't do it.... yet anyways. Walked into this new store because I love fresh cuts of meat and have taken to really enjoy premium cuts. However, I received the "cold shoulder" after walking in and after about 5 minutes of standing in the small area near the middle of the store and not feeling too welcomed, I promptly walked out. I returned back roughly a month later with my wife and had a similar experience, this time backed up with my wife also noticing and feeling the same before we ended up leaving again without even being acknowledged.I'm not sure if we'll return, but if we do it may be the last time before officially never returning if the same unwelcome treatment continues. I'm sure they'd get by just fine with those customers who are welcomed.
