Leppinks Food Centers is a fourth generation, family-owned grocery store chain with seven locations in Michigan. Established in 1928, each store is unique, designed to serve as a true neighborhood market. Customers appreciate the wonderful staff and the convenience of shopping close to home, especially during inclement weather. However, some reviews mention that prices can be high, particularly for items like rotisserie chicken. While the selection may be limited, shoppers can find specials tailored for small families and singles, including frequent meat deals and bulk Honeycrisp apples. Some customers have reported issues with liquor purchases, advising others to check that bottles are sealed. Overall, Leppinks Food Centers is valued for its friendly atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-stocked aisles, making it a preferred choice despite higher prices compared to discount stores.
It’s expensive compared to any other store but it’s convenient if you’re in Belding. The self checkout is nice. Some of the workers aren’t the friendliest, if you go here you know who I’m talking about lol.
