Very clean, quiet, friendly motel. The owners live onsite and are very accommodating to all requests. The location is convinced to many areas in Traverse. Minutes from Bear Lake and Manistee. We enjoyed our stay there very much.
Rooms: Very clean and comfortable.
Nearby activities: Traverse City, Manistee, Fishing, Boating, Kayaking. Winter activities also.

Very clean and professional staff. The owner is very nice and will go out of her way for you. The furniture and decor is out dated and bed is a little stiff and the pillows are small. But well worth the money.

When I walked into my room I was very impressed on how spacious the rooms were. The beds were super comfortable and the free put-put out front was fun. Kevin and Tanya the owners were there to answer any questions about the town around you. The cleaning crew also did an excellent job as well. Thank you for making me feel like my home away from home! I would highly recommend The inn at alpine to anyone.

Nice location for a motel, they have a tiny putt putt golf course that takes about 5 minutes if your kids are new to it. Room wasn’t bad there was a old frozen dinner in our microwave. Coffee in the morning tasted like burnt plastic and mold. Almost as if they don’t clean the coffee pots. Bathroom wasn’t the nicest but does the job. If your looking for a place to get coffee and breakfast and stuff this isn’t it. If your looking for just a place to sleep it would do the job! Don’t get me wrong it’s not a bad place and would probably stay again as most are on fishing trips and the coffee and stuff doesn’t matter much to us.

Wonderful owners very accomadating, Clean rooms with activities (mini golf) for the kids. Love it there! The best service around!
My pictures are out dated no longer a pool, there is a beautiful sitting area there now.

I stumbled upon this gem during a mini blizzard and I’m so lucky I did! My car got stuck and the owner got it unstuck for me during the nasty weather and parked it in front of my room. The lobby is gorgeous and the room was toasty warm and comfortable. Such an awesome family owned business and I look forward to visiting again!

Clean, comfortable and spacious hotel rooms. They were very accommodating and kind enough to let our group use their lobby for our potluck dinner after we reached there quiet late at night. They have a mini golf area and swings for kids. Very good location. Close to Crystal mountain resort. Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City are easily accessible as well.
Dollar General and Meijer are close by.

Ok, don't be thrown by the 1 star hotel rating you see on Google. It is NOT a reflection of the quality of the hotel. It's about the amenities. ( I didn't know this before today)
Like do they have a pool? Do they do breakfast? Have a gym?
Nope to all of the above.
What it does have are clean, comfortable rooms. It's family owned and has been for decades.
Plus they have a very fat bulldog named pork chop who is very friendly.

This place is so convenient in its proximity to so many great spots for hiking and biking. It's family run and the family is very pleasant and accommodating.

Stayed here with three young kids. The owners were very friendly. The kids enjoyed the free putt putt. The quality and price were great. Will be staying here again!
