Kia of Bay City had our daughters kia Nero at their shop for over two months leaving her without a mode of transportation to get back and forth to work. Her brakes completely went out so we figured better have the dealership look into it. There is only one mechanic to work on the kia automobiles and they offered no loaner cars for use. One excuse they gave was that the part they needed to check the Nero out was not sent to them so they had to order it. They did say that there was no air in the brake lines as we thought that might be an issue. I wouldn't recommend taking anything there. Barely returned our phone calls when we left messages and when they did call they fed us a line of crap. The last time I heard from the dealership they said they still didn't know what the matter was. They gave two guesses as to what it could be, one estimate costing over $1600 and the other costing over $2000. Two days later they contacted our daughter and said it's ready you can pick it up that there was air in the brake lines and it's now good to go. Although I'm thankful it was only air in the brake lines it's unfortunate it took them over 2 months to remedy the issue. Very disappointed with the whole situation.

Well the recall went great, however I had the front end checked it was shimming when driving and Especially when you put the brakes on the steering wheel. So I was told from the mechanic it was the left side inside and outside tire rod. I went and got a second opinion that’s not what it was at all. It was actually the steering wheel pins and stuff so I would’ve had a $1200 bill and a tie rod replaced that didn’t need to be replaced. The reason for the shimmy was trugrade rack and pinion assembly.

James in the service center worked with me and was patient the entire time as I fought with both my insurance company and my body shop to get my car repaired. He went above and beyond his duties helping the process along, updating me periodically if he hadn't heard from me and making sure I knew if anything changed. My car was at the dealership for 8 months while waiting for the repairs to be approved and they even washed it and wiped it down on the inside before giving it back to me.
