dont have them change a battery in a watch, they wont put the oring back and a $5 battery will cost you $300.

I received an extremely low quote for 2 gold rings I wanted to sell. I went to another local gold buyer & sold the ring for 4 TIMES MORE than what Stan's would pay!!! I've been told by SO many people not to go to Stan's. They just don't pay.

I needed a new battery for my watch. The watch is really hard to get the back off and then back on. I went to Zales first and they took care of everything but couldn't get the back of the watch on. They suggested I go to a different store, but it was closed. I ended up going to Stan's Gold Mine. They worked hard, but were able to get the back on and didn't charge me. Great service! I'll go there again!

So according to her lies 11 grams 14 Carat and 2 grams 10 Carat is only worth $75. The problem is that it was already weighed and worth over $334 . Do Not Go To Stans. They will Lie to you, and take advantage of you! It's Disgusting!!

Do Not Ever Go Here! They lie about Gold Weights, Prices, and do it with a fake smile! You see, I have many years of experience with Buying and Selling precious metals, which the woman did know about. The problem? Everything was already weighed and priced according to the market Before I Walked In. 11 Grams of 14 Carat and 2 Grams of 10 Carat is worth over $330 and that's at Scrap Pricing! She said the best she could do was $75 after she had lied to my face about the gold weights and began her Fake Calculations!! Absolutely Disgusting!! Also another heads up. Most of the jewelry isn't new like they want you to believe. They hand it off to their in house jeweler who tries to restore the newness, but look carefully at your jewelry. You will find plenty of scratches and even some dark marks where it was tested!!!

They are very ridiculous on gold and platinum prices. Also probably the rudest people in the industry. I used to deal with them before the trash took over. Oh well. Hopefully they keep being rude and go out of business soon.

Avoid this place at all costs, I normally support all local small businesses, however this place is on a whole new level of shady unfair business practices that prey on those most vulnerable. I brought in 2 - 22K necklaces I bought at an estate sale a few months ago that I had taken to a 3rd party to be tested for gold content and value, they weighed 27.89 grams total, which 22K gold is a 91.6% gold alloy that makes the actual gold content just over 25 grams and the spot price at the time was at $61.02 per gram - I was expecting an offer around 40-50% of the market value... They offered less than 10% of the market value. Beware, I highly suggest taking your valuables elsewhere as you will undoubtedly take a heavy loss with these unprofessional, rude, predatory sales ladies.

How can you trust a place that doesn't even know how identify sterling silver? I had a pendant from the Franklin mint that was stamped 925 and was told it wasn't sterling because "it reacted to the magnet". For those unaware, silver is diamagnetic and will react in the direction of a magnetic field but will not stick to the magnet. Go elsewhere to trade in your things, cause you aren't getting what you probably should.

I have been going to Stan's for several years. I have purchased many beautiful unique jewelery pieces that I get complimented on. The staff is amazing! I no longer go to any other place to buy my jewelry.

Best prices around. Employees very friendly and owners Don and Connie are great people. We don't go to any other jewelry store. My mom and I go there and buy each other jewelry every Christmas and our birthdays. I highly recommend this store.

Excellent jewerly and well priced! I have purchased a lot of beautiful rings and have been 100% Satisified ! Customer service could use some serious help ! Speaking from service way prior to COVID !! I have always recommeded Stan"s but the customer service has failed my recommenditions :)
