This store is trashed!!! I frequent 3 different Dollar Trees and never have i seen a store this bad. Goodwill/salvation army are cleaner than this store. Must not have caring employees.

The store was highly organized. You could tell they've done maintenance on the shelves to keep things in order and when stuff was taken out to purchase, stock in back was pulled forward so it was sitting at the front again and you could find it. I guess I liked it because I went in for one thing and came out with five more.

I had an unfortunate and somewhat bizarre experience in the Dollar Tree located on Center Road in Essexville. It happened yesterday, August 13. While shopping, I needed to backtrack down an aisle to get something I forgot. There was an employee with a large hand cart picking up stacks of empty boxes and blocking the aisle. I waited for her to move. She took her time, then proceeded up the aisle. She stopped again to pick up some boxes. I, of necessity, stopped too. She never once made eye contact with me. She made no attempt to move over a little so I could get by. She did not even accord me the courtesy of saying "Excuse me.". When she finally vacated the aisle, I finished shopping and went to check out. Her blatant rudeness really appalled me. I asked the cashier if I could speak to the manager. Imagine my surprise when the manager showed to be none other than the very person who had been so rude. I asked her about the incident. Essentially, she told me that she had waited for me to "get out of the way" so she could go about her business collecting empty boxes. When I needed to go back down the same aisle, she asserted that "she was there first.' I responded that since I was the customer, she could at least have acknowledged my presence. She repeated that "she was already in the aisle." I repeated that I was the customer. I told her that I considered her behavior rude and unprofessional. She made no apology. She just kept basically saying that she had the right of way. I know the Dollar Tree is not Saks Fifth Avenue, but I have never encountered a ruder employee anywhere I have shopped. And I have done a great deal of shopping in that particular Dollar Tree. I had never seen this person before. I wish I had asked her name. I don't know that I will feel comfortable going into that store again after this. Incidentally, the cashier was witness to the entire exchange. She was wonderfully polite and empathetic.

Something for everyone! And can't beat the price. I usually walk out with more than what was on my shopping list than I originally intended ?
