Brent has been my agent for years now and I couldn't be happier. My crawlspace flooded once due to a sump pump failure and he came out right away and helped us get things taken care of. I recently purchased a new car and ended up at the dealership well after standard business hours. Brent was able help get some coverage quickly on the new vehicle so we could drive it off the lot the same evening. Truly exceptional service. A+

Used to be happy but the past few months have not been good and what happened today is unacceptable. Do not use this agent. First issue that happened is we received cancellation notices on our vehicles this past fall due to two accidents coded as my husband's fault on two separate vehicles on our policy. One was his fault because he hit a stump in our yard, the other was not. He was driving down I75 and a semi right in front of him had a huge piece of ice fly off the top so he had to straddle it in his lane. He heard some scraping under his car but kept going. Didn't think anything of it until he kept getting hung up in the car wash conveyor. The ice did under damage, and he obviously didn't get the trucker's plate number. We started a claim with the State Farm customer service number. At no point did anyone tell us at customer service by making this claim when underwriting reran their accident history reports we would be on their cancellation list. Brent gets notified of the claims as well and didn't call and tell us about this known underwriting policy all the agents and customer service people apparently are aware of. We could've cancelled the claim and paid out of pocket for the repairs. I called and spoke with Brent when we got the cancellation letters, and he said he'd appeal it to underwriting. Never heard back. Kept calling the State Farm customer service number because I thought the answer had to come from underwriting. Every time I called they said it was still being reviewed. Finally a few weeks into January customer service told me they had a response and they'd have my agent call me. Got a call from Josh the next day (last week) to tell me the appeal did get reviewed in December and was denied. Again, no one called me. I asked Josh what date the insurance for the vehicles would end. He told me Feb 3rd. Based on that information, I'd get my new higher rate policy setup at the end of the month because I'm not going to pay a lot more until I have to. Today, Jan 24, 5 days after my conversation with Josh, when I opened my back hatch on my SUV for some reason my window shattered. No idea why, and Van Wert didn't really know either, but they've seen it happen. Called Brent's office to get advice on how to handle this since the claims in the past were handled poorly. Was informed by Josh my vehicle's policy ended on Jan 21st. Each one of our three vehicles have different dates, and he only gave me the Feb 3rd date on one of them when we talked last week. I've been driving a vehicle with no insurance for the past few days, and now I have a broken window that would've been covered with a $0 deductible comp claim. I now have to pay $575 out of pocket because of misinformation. Unacceptable!!! Not to mention the extra $200 a month I'm now going to have to pay for higher rate insurance for the next year or two due to lack of communication on our claims. We have no history of bad driving records and had perfect history prior to these two unfortunate driving incidents. None of that was even taken into account in the appeal. Brent owes me a window. I'm definitely pulling our additional nonauto policies from him within the next 30 days, and will never recommend him or State Farm to anyone.

CJ Fedewa is an excellent insurance agent. He is always a quick phone call or text away from answering any questions. He goes above and beyond to inform me of the best policies for me and my family. Aside from his hard work as my agent, CJ is an excellent person. His personality is larger than life and makes understanding even the most complicated policy terms easy. I wouldn’t be a State Farm customer if it wasn’t for CJ. State Farm is lucky to have him.

I’ve been with this agency for about 2 years now. Josh has been extremely helpful even when it’s after business hours. When I visit the office, everyone is very welcoming. I’m very happy with the service I receive from Brent Mishler State Farm.

I have multiple policies through Brent Mishler State Farm and couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received. I’ve been with this local State Farm office for about 2 years now. I’ve had multiple instances where I’ve had to call in for forms, ask questions, etc. and each time I received the correct answer/needed docs in a quick manner. Everyone I’ve spoken to there, a handful of individuals at this point, have been polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. Highly recommend.
