The Scoop is a well-supplied pet store that carries high quality pet food, various supplies, and toys for dogs and cats. It is a bit off the retail district but is considered a go-to place for all pet needs. The store is not overwhelming, welcomes pets on leash, and invites conversation. A tremendous bonus is the drive-thru to pick up dog food. The staff is very nice, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and often entertaining. They provide samples and items like a free pet carrying bag. The store is noted for carrying probably the only dog food that is copper free. Reviews indicate this low copper food has helped pets with health issues, such as normalizing high liver values in dogs when other foods had excessive copper. Customers are very pleased with the product, with dogs loving the food. It is seen as a refreshing gem in a world of big chain stores, with hopes for its continued success.
