I just want to give a big shout out to Chad who works at O’Reillys at the Pennfield location, he definitely showed true professionalism, he was the only one in there working, he was helping a lady when we walked in, he greeted us and told us he’d be with us in a moment, sure no problem take your time. A few more people walked in, he greeted them as well, then he asked us if it would be ok if he helped the lady carry her items to her car as they was pretty heavy, sure by all means I’m a very patient person. The people who walked in after us had walked out cause they wasn’t helped right away, me I could see the man was clearly working by himself so he was trying his best.
My daughter not knowing what is wrong with her car wanted a purge valve for her car, he wanted to make sure that she wasn’t just blowing her money down the drain and having the same issue after getting it fixed. A few more people had walked in, he then asked me if I had ever used a code reader, I said yes I have, well really I’ve never used one but I’ve seen how they are used. He handed me some paper and a pen and told me write down any codes that it threw. I then returned to the store, handed him the paper, it came up with this item that was well over $1,000..
So Listen up people.. if you see someone working by themselves, please be patient with them. Not a lot of people want to work right now especially when a lot of places are hiring. These businesses are doing the best they can at the moment, I even inquired about a part time job as I already have a full time job, but he has a few people out sick right now, so he’s definitely doing what he can to keep the store open and running. Kudos to you Chad, you had done an amazing job today. Keep up the great work
