Just opened an account to try and get a HELOC and closing it just as fast. Absolutely drug through the mud by Jessica Hitchcock and her manager. Waste of my time and money. Never again. Definitely need to be evaluated by someone higher up. Listen to the recorded phone lines if you don't believe me. At one point was even told to be quiet by manager so she could finish talking.

I went through Omni for a mortgage and worked with Courtney Shirey who was my mortgage loan officer. She did a phenomenal job of making sure I was on track through every step of the process. She made sure I stay informed about everything going on and always called and emailed to check in. She helped everything go as smoothly as it possibly could! I'm so happy I had Courtney to help me through this intimidating experience!

I have been a member for years and needed to open my son a acct! The lady at front desk named Wendy is not a friendly person at all! She said we would need to make an appt and the earliest time they had was about a week later, so I was going to open one at another credit union, but decided to call and Hailey who was more than helpful got me a appt that day! I would rate her 5 stars but the front desk help a zero if that was a option!!! Shouldn't work the front desk if you can’t be pleasant or put forth any effort!

Omni operates like it’s still the year 2000. I have banked with Omni for over 20 years but recently closed my account because of their poor policies. My mother created the bank account for me when I was 5 years old and naturally added herself to the account as well. I’m currently in my mid twenties and just have never gotten around to removing her off of the account because I didn’t really see a need to. However, I recently got married and went in to have my last name on my account changed. I was told that I needed to make an appointment to make a name change and I would need to bring my new drivers license. When I came to the scheduled appointment I was told that the previous clerk had given me wrong information and I would actually need my new license, my old license, a copy of my marriage certificate, my SOS and my mother present at the time of name change. Absolutely effing ridiculous. My mother lives in another town and does not have the time to come into the office all so I can change my LEGAL last name. It was easier to change my last name at the SOS office and the DMV than it is to change it at this bank. I had a shared account at Consumers Credit Union with my husband before we were married, Consumers had no problem changing my last name without my husband present. So I highly recommend banking with Consumers, and not Omni. Omni did let me close the account without my mother present however. Go figure.

Excellent customer service! Until I applied for a mortgage I was denied through email for one reason and by phone another reason! Makes me wonder if I was the wrong color.

I have been stressing over misplacing my card over 6 months ago with my only option being to fly from CA back to MI to change my information in person. Also without the option to use my online banking bc I changed my phone number to a CA number. I was sent an angel this morning Iana Rogenski. Within minutes she changed my whole world. Not only did I get to change my information by email DocuSign, I will have my online banking back and a new card sent to my correct address. My stress is gone. I gave her 5 stars but she deserves so many more. Thank you.. Thank you. I can't thank her enough.

I recently moved so money around in my accounts and had problems that I called on twice and finally had to go to Sturgis branch and the real nice lady fixed my problem, your still not as good as my other credit union but your slowly getting better, I chose Omni because you have branches all around my village which makes it very convenient for me. I used to work in Coldwater and Consumers was a block away on my way to and from work but now I have to drive 45 minutes to get to a branch, the gals there could remember my name which made my feel like one of the family, I don’t get that at my local Omni branch and sometimes the help there can be a bit rude. My girlfriend had been a teller for 38 years so I know what a good teller can do for you and what a bad teller won’t do for you! Snap the whip and get your employees more friendly and more willing to help you get what needs done on the first try!
