Prices are unreasonably high and shelves aren't always restocked still, but the store is clean, the employees are all helpful and friendly, and it's NOT Wal-Mart.Absolutely hate all of the self checkout. If there was a comparable alternative locally without self checkout, I would shop there exclusively. I also hate having to clip coupons in the app and apply points for rewards, only to have them not apply when checking out and without an actual human checking me out, it's too much a pain in the a$$ to rectify. Or maybe that's the point?Just give us fair pricing instead. And more than one checkout lane with a human working it.

Went this morning to return bottles and the store does not open at 6am, the employees arrive at 6am, said bottle department wouldn't be open until 8am.?

Boy has Meijer's changed. All the cold or frozen stuff is on the right side and back corner. Bread is on the back wall instead of toilet paper. Lots of stuff is different. You have to go there for yourself.

Good grief, this is a torn review. Because there's two in the BC area and the one across from Walmart is extremely hit or miss on good or bad experience. While the one on Columbia Ave is pretty consistent in that regard, they've also very recently overhauled the whole inside of the store so that it's mostly rearranged and about 20% smaller. Just check out the frozen section there for example. And the electronics section is a joke.

Usually stop for milk which they have moved to the back of the store, I know the reason but I usually just get what I need, even though I have to walk past 1000 things I don't need.
